  1. I’d like this, Ash, please. I’m travelling back to the UK tomorrow. Could we sort out details over the weekend please?
  2. That would do it and should allow you to take advantage of some of the MIDI functions like freeze and modulation. (I’d still recommend the Morningstar stuff though as it’s more versatile. The MC3 is pretty small.)
  3. Hungary. They did try to persuade me to be a dedicated UK dealer but I don’t think I could cope with the extra admin.
  4. Panda are offering deal for anyone who wants to buy a second FI: “From now on we decided to give a very reasonable discount for users who already have a Future Impact I. or v3 unit to buy a second one.” http://pandamidi.com/store/your-second-future-impact
  5. Nope, he sold it again a while back.
  6. Utterly devastating news: https://www.sequential.com
  7. One here too: https://thebassgallery.com/products/ernie-ball-musicman-sterling-usa
  8. FI and C4. (Boss SY-200 is pretty much like the SY-1 but with presets and other goodies.)
  9. Sold Marcell an Octabvre III pedal at the weekend. Good communication and payment was sent as promised after committing to the transaction. Many thanks.
  10. The only place where I’ve had any luck in getting messages to stick is by posting to his Facebook page, not sure if he’s checking it though.

  12. I’m guessing everyone knows what these are by now and they are like rocking horse poop. I’m not entirely sure about letting this go, hence a price I can’t refuse. You know how it is, trying to raise funds for other stuff. No peeling logo on this one and in excellent unmolested condition with box and paperwork.
  13. Was it the gauge or the sound you didn’t like? They are stupidly bright at first but dull right off after a few weeks. I find these too (physically) thin on the D and G for most stuff, but they are great for slapping (not that I do much of that).
  14. @andybassdoylehave you used this beast with your FI? I imagine it’s pretty cool with the extended range.
  15. Ah, I see. A new acoustic is great though. (Wish I lived somewhere where I could have and play one.) Sorry you’re having to let this one go.
  16. Might be worth amending the title that this is the Subsequent rather than the Sub model. Are you ditching synths entirely or moving on to something else? These are lovely instruments and do plenty of stuff other than just bass.
  17. As long as you’re feeling yourself in private, we don’t mind if you need a bass or not to do so; feeling yourself in public might have penal consequences.
  18. There is definitely noticeable latency on polyphonic pitch detection, especially if using a bass. It’s acknowledged by SA. If playing on a guitar, it’s obviously less as the wavelengths are halved for equivalent positions on the fretboard compared to on bass so the detection time is halved.
  19. Can’t really add anything that hasn’t already been said. Lee bought my Enigma recently; I held it for him until his other sale had gone through successfully and he paid as promised. Deal in total confidence. Many thanks.
  20. Used one here for those looking:
