    They sound pretty close. Ceramic pickup instead of the classic AlNiCo ones. This model has a 1.5” nut instead of the 1.625” too if I recall correctly.

    It should automatically switch to interface mode as soon as you plug the USB cable into the computer. While powered on, you could long press the button to perform a factory reset. Are you using the USB cable that came with it?

    Correct. It definitely works as I beta tested it extensively.

    Do you have a chrome browser open at the same time? Chrome will hog the MIDI connection as windows only allows one usb MIDI device at a time. Close down anything else that uses usb MIDI.

    No. It’s class compliant.

    The 4Control does work fine as the interface, it was a primary aim of the device. It can be used for updating FI firmware and adding patches. USB goes into computer, then hook up the MIDI ports of the FI to the MIDI ports of the 4Control (the correct way around of course). My guess is you have the cables in the opposite ports. You also need to select the 4Control as the input and output device in the FI editor. Plug the 4Control into you PC before you launch the editor.

    Both give access to expression and some switch functionality. The MC6 is way more powerful though.
