  1. I just sold John my C4; all organised really quickly from initial contact last night to payment and collection this afternoon, with friendly communication both online and in person. I’d be happy to transact again. Many thanks and hope you enjoy the glorious synth tones.
  2. Absolute bargain for a great preamp.
  3. Could someone who has a Mercury Flanger and access to the desktop editor please check something for me: If you load a phaser patch into the pedal and turn the “delay” knob on the pedal, does the “frequency” knob in the editor move? In the old editor the knob was labelled frequency/delay. Basically, I need to know whether it’s possible to control the phaser sweep’s centre frequency directly from the pedal; if so, I need to get one instead of my Lunar as that’s a far more useful feature to me than control over the LFO shape. Thanks.
  4. Will consider a very near offer.
  5. This isn’t the vintage reissue version as that one has no status LED. This is the standard one.
  6. It is. I’m just not really making use of it for synth stuff like I once did since getting my keyboard skills to a decent standard. I’ve had loads of fun learning it and creating and sharing patches for it over the last few years but since it’s been sitting in a box for quite some time now unused, I feel I’d like to move it on and put cash towards another instrument. (If I feel like I’m missing it later, I can easily get another.) Still got a Spectrum for all the filter, phaser and octave stuff.
  7. You could perhaps run something in the C4’s loop and use it as a mixer to isolate what you need then sum to mono.
  8. A sort of redo of the MKII but with envelope control. Sadly USA only though. https://www.chaseblisslegacy.com/billy-strings-wombtone?fbclid=IwZXh0bgNhZW0CMTEAAR0DkRrw735sXjKcOM3TTtwA9nqJrEZBWAn60_5zcDvGTgWnvXPFVSCMbrA_aem_fAFRAoTuFtJmNDy45crnKg
  9. Don’t think it’s one piece, but is very well book-matched compared to others I’ve seen. The join looks to be to the right of the neck plate on the rear shot, tracing it down you can see two grain lines merge into one. Looks lovely. Guessing this might be a heavy beast.
  10. By the way, the “Tim” switch isn’t a dry kill switch, rather it adds a massive sub frequency boost. The bigger MKII has both the dry kill footswitch and the Tim toggle switch.
  11. These are great and Jonathan is great to deal with.
  12. Just had another great transaction with Gavin, hilariously involving me buying back the pedal I sold him a few months ago (we’ve all been there, right?). All sorted quickly and efficiently with prompt, clear and friendly communication throughout. Many thanks.
  13. Been a fan for years. Went to see him a couple of years ago too. If you like him, check out Dabeull too.
  14. Physics dictates that pitch is a function of string length, string mass and string tension. Height has nothing to do with it. If the sounding string length and string mass remain the same, then the tension required to maintain a base pitch of say 55 Hz on the A string remains the same. Lowering the height just narrows the distance one has to press the strings, which costs less physical effort. The further one increases the string height, the further one is stretching the string in order to bring it into contact with the fret, hence the more under tension from the base value the string becomes when fretting compared to lower string heights.
  15. Yep, insanely light! I have FS on one of my Ps and the G string is too thin for my tastes.🙂 To the OP, lowering the string heights a bit will make them easier to play if you’re finding them too much effort currently.
  16. Just spotted these today and wonder if they are infringing on Aclam’s patent: https://www.joyoaudio.co.uk/JOYO-rockdriver-pedal-case-board/
  17. Don’t know why I’ve never yet listened to Patrice’s albums between 1974’s “Prelusion” and 1982’s “Straight From The Heart” (the one with “Forget-Me-Nots”). I will be rectifying this oversight in short order.
