    The pedal needs 500mA at 12V. It could be that when the voltage is stepped up, the available current is lowered proportionally so a 500mA 9V output would then become 375mA at 12V. (That’s how it functions on my Strymon Zuma.) I’ve also seen some converters (such as the one by One Spot) that has a capped amount of current it can convert; again, this may be what happened in your case. This was mine previously and is a lovely pedal.

    Wonder if the BOD sensitivity is the same issue as with their initial VBO run - really chattery. They fixed it by adding a resistor at the input somewhere.

    Not entirely sure about this but feel like I should continue my ruthless cull. Pedal is in outstanding condition with all packaging and paperwork. I love the sound of this thing but I find I only ever use a small fraction of what it’s capable of. The other thing is that the programming via dip switches doesn’t really suit my mindset. These were only available in the USA due to restrictions on vactrols in Europe, but I was fortunate enough to have a friend who was able to bring this over for me.     Just sold James my Source Audio Spectrum in a smooth and flawless transaction. This involved my walking to meet him where he was playing a show in my city. Our ad hoc arrangements came to fruition and we were able to meet right after his show ended at the appointed place and time. Always nice to meet a fellow Basschatter and talk gear (just hope I didn’t deprive him of time to grab food before the evening show). James is a really nice chap and it was a pleasure to meet him.
