Future Impact V4. Is a synth itself but can also trigger external synths by converting the audio input of your instrument to CV or MIDI.
-
The message types with names are just that and that’s how they appear in any MIDI controller (such as Morningstar). Program Change is just PC. Note-on/off are the messages sent when pressing and releasing a keyboard key; velocity is a value associated with that which is derived from how fast you press the key. These are messages you can also assign to button presses on a controller. Say if you want a Morningstar button to play a drone.

Doesn’t Enzo do some arp stuff?
-
It’s always been possible to arpeggiate and sequence the FI via MIDI, which could be done with free software via phone/tablet/laptop/MIDI controller.
-
Yes, an FM synth is on the road map for one of the two remaining partitions. The other partition could be more effects or a sample-based engine.
-
I didn’t doubt it for a second.
-
I can say it’s highly unlikely for the audio-triggered side.
-
There’s never been an arpeggiator.

Could someone who has the pedal please answer this? How does the portamento behave when you leave gaps between consecutive notes? Is the portamento gated? i.e. does the pitch transition pause when you leave a space in between the notes and pick up again as soon as you play another note, or does the pitch transition continue in the background. You can test by doing the following: Set portamento to maximum. Play 20th fret on G (Eb) then (taking care to mute the other strings) play the open E. Note how long the transition takes. Now, play the high Eb again and stop. Leave a pause equal to or longer than the time the pitch transition took last time. Now, play the low E. Is there still portamento happening or does the note play cleanly without pitch transition?

Anyone had their mitts on one of these?

Well, what do you know, he removed my comment linking to the free patches that I’ve shared within the community via the Panda official cloud site. I wonder why…🤔 He also removed my comment thanking him for showcasing the pedal and linking to the Facebook group I set up.🤷🏻

Ampeg SGT-DI question, and interference issue with 5.8Ghz wireless.

As said, it does nothing. It’s the control for the SGT voice so if the SGT side is off it has no effect. -
Hmm, yes. I do take slight umbrage at the comment about his patches being “night and day” compared to the stock ones, but I’m not trying to make money off my patches, I’ve shared them for free so don’t have to try and persuade people to buy “better” stuff. In fact, I do wonder if a few might just be mine anyway or slightly tweaked versions.

Yes, from the keyboard.

I’ve posted some clips where I was using keys.

The B15/SVT only affects the Grit side. Part of the reason I ditched it is because of having to always hit no try footswitch we just to turn the B15 sound on. That and the stupidly high treble frequency (10kHz if I recall correctly).
