  1. Just got this yesterday and am digging what it can do. In the first clip, sounds 1 and 3 are (just) the JW; 2 is a Mu-Tron Micro-Tron IV. https://www.basschat.co.uk/applications/core/interface/file/attachment.php?id=211388 The second clip is the JW (with a TC Spectracomp in front). https://drive.google.com/file/d/1jfO5zXAL0eMWpsGq11456tzP7PnObS48/view?usp=drivesdk
  2. I'm not familiar enough with a Muff sound but it does drive and fuzz. M82 is doable: OC-2 sound is in there.
  3. Now on the other end of a deal with a Harry having just bought his Joshwah and it went as smoothly as when I sold him something last year. Fantastic in every possible way. Many thanks!
  4. I’ve posted loads of new Spectrum presets as I got one recently.
  5. The (first) six onboard presets are “displayed” as fretmeister says above. For presets 7-127 you need a MIDI controller which will most likely have its own display. You can also use free apps such as TouchOSC or MIDIPad to access them.
  6. You’d think they would. My guess is they were out of practice after the lockdown closure. The buzz is a nut cutting issue as it’s buzzing at the nut.
  7. @GisserD might be able to post a couple of clips he made using his.
  8. How are you getting on with yours. I’m still jealous. 🙂
  9. Picked up this brand new a couple of weeks ago. It’s awesome but not what I’m looking for. It’s a 12dB per octave analogue resonant filter based on the Korg MS20 filter. It has envelope control, multi-shape LFO control and static/expression control. There are three main modes (fixed, envelope and LFO) and each of those has sub modes via a button and in each mode the secondary foot switch does something different. There is onboard preset storage; a small number of presets are accessible via the button and further presets are recallable via MIDI. It’s really easy to use and if MIDI isn’t your bag you can use the pedal without it and still get tons of variation. It’s great but I’m swamped in pedals at the moment and this probably won’t get much of a look in. A couple of very faint small scuffs on the base plate but otherwise pristine. Comes in the original box with all the paperwork and candy. No trades. I can post out on or after Tuesday.
  10. Lakland are going to reimburse Jon Shuker to fix the issues so it should all be good in the end.
  11. @Pedro_Mendonca has a wanted ad for a Q-Tron.
  12. I’ve just uploaded a whole bunch of Spectrum presets which can, of course, be loaded into the C4.
  13. Pm sent re Joshwah.
  14. The Joshwah is something I’d like to try sometime. Maybe @GisserD will buy it as he’s on a serious filter binge.
  15. Nope, the bass for sale is cherry sunburst which is has more red/orange and yellow. Honeyburst is browner (but not as brown as tobacco sunburst). This is honeyburst:
  16. Had it been natural or honey burst I’d have bought this instantly.
  17. Guess he must have changed them then as it wasn’t either of those. I got rotosound 66s put on when I had it set up but now it’s wearing GHS precision flats.
  18. Must be really good then. I’m really digging the white one I bought from Simon. By the way, what strings were on it when you sold it? Not sure if they were the same ones that @Stealth had on when I bought it. They sounded great. I forgot to ask to keep them when Jon Shuker set it up for me with a different set.
  19. Source Audio make a tap tempo switch too.
  20. These are great. I have the trans white one that John used to own and it’s lovely.
  21. Sounds cool. What patch was this?
  22. It’s a collaborative effort and expands on the benson preamp and not just a rebrand. It does much more than just preamp features. It’s a very capable drive and wah pedal too. Yes, it’s very pricey but there’s a lot of work gone into it. I hope that this takes off and brings the price down on later projects. I talked to Joel when I met him in Berlin last year and he wants to make this format his thing for his future pedals. It’s the ideal marriage between hands-on analogue controls and presets.
  23. Just drove past Nottingham today on my way south.
