    @walshy are the QP pickups fitted in these pictures? The pole pieces pictured look like regular size ones to me. Or are my eyes failing me?

    Mine never looks that purple. For years I thought it was black. Maybe I need more light. This is a brilliant filter. I had one a few years ago and foolishly sold it. Bought another last year as it’s so good.

    It’s a mental pedal. I was a beta tester for it and I still have only scratched the surface. It’s the first pedal where I’ve felt totally overwhelmed with options. If you were thinking you only used 10% of the FI’s functions, the figure for this pedal could well be lower.

    Soft touch buttons are nice. Knob positions don’t make much difference as they are functionally identical.

    The current Morningstar controllers do not have USB host capability so either the Hub or Disaster Area MicrogHost would be required.

    The more functionality the MIDI controller has (ability to send CC messages on button presses, etc) the more functionality you’ll be able to squeeze out of the C4. It’ll give you access to stuff that is under the hood and make it easier to use. Morningstar also do a smaller MC3.
