1. My 'sig' says it all........
 2. Lovely 'Futura'..... is that a bolt on or through-neck?
 3. Have a free BUMP in case it doesn't sell....! It's an excellent bass..... and as mentioned before, your model is actually a Euro5, which is an older (& some say better) model....
 4. Ooooooh! I LIKE that Roscoe.... VERY sexeee
 5. Great review of my all time favourite make of bass. I've NEVER had any issues with the build quality, tonal colours, feel, playability or just damn horny looks that these basses are blessed with. It don't get any better!
 6. Twas a nice Jazz bass...... and they rocked out to the Styx xlassic 'Mr Roboto' at the end too...!!
 7.
I like that Hamer too. How much?
What..... how much did I pay?.... or how much will I take for it?!?

 9.
Although, I suspect that would balance better out of the box.
Actually, there is still a little neckdive.... but nothing too serious
 10.
But i dont have a belly! It just dug into my ribs and abdomen I really wanted to like it! It was a stunner, and sounded ace.
Lower the strap then and it will envelope your bony hip bone....
 11. Well, I've had a good couple of weeks! Having sold my Spector Euro5LX for £775 I've managed to purchase two old basses I've always wanted! And BOTH of them have more than lived up to my expectations!! First up is a late 80's/early 90's Hamer Impact bass. These were made in very limited numbers for a very short period but were seen in the hands of US rock players such as Kip Winger (Winger) & Jack Blades (Night Ranger/Damn Yankees) amongst others.... More pics of this one to follow soon...... Second up is this fantastic Fernandes Ltd Edition 'Spector Nikki Sixx' copy from around 1990!! I'm gonna be upgrading the pickups to EMGs and putting a Spector lookalike gold bridge and gold Schaller straplocks on it and then it will be a MONSTER!!
 12.
I saw this on eBay a couple of weeks ago. It's a Fernandes Thunderbird - it's a lot like the old Spector Thunderbirds Nikki Sixx played in the late 80s. Link: http://i87.photobucket.com/albums/k129/mus.../mc14sixx/2.jpg Don't know about you guys, but this really popped my cork when I saw it. I loved the old Spectors that Sixx played...the Spector headstock on a T-bird body was something lovely...this milks that design. Much love P x
That's my new bass..... just arrived a few days ago!! It's a fantastic "Spector Nikki Sixx" copy made by Fernandes around 1990 and extremely limited in production. It's really well made and with a great tone! I'm just about to upgrade it with some EMG's, a Spector lookalike bridge and some Schaller straplocks..... Here's some more pics.....
 13.
Here's a quick tip - Once you have been given your EMS tracking number (E*****************JP) enter it on te parcel force website for a more detailed breakdown of the process. As soon as the parcel is said to be 'sorting at depot' just go and get it yourself - in my experience they tend to send you a letter saying they want you to come and get it about 2/3 days after this.
That's exactly what I did. As soon as it hit my local depot I simply turned up with the tracking number and some personal ID, paid the customs charge and went home VERY satisfied!
 14.
I'm getting and Landmark 300, v.nice amps and easy to get a good sound out of it! Best thing with the footswitch is that you can run both channels at the same time
You will LOVE the tone of your Spector through it.... just be careful with your input gain level on the amp and the excessive boost available from your Spector tonepump preamp!
 15. Twas a brilliant show.....! Keith Carlock and Freddie Washington were tight as a gnats chuff! Songs of the night for me.... 'Aja' complete with stunning drum fills....and a rousing finale of 'My Old School' !! I was sitting 3 rows behind Paul McCartney..... and David Gilmour was also there.... he came over to say Hi to Paul and everyone stared in disbelief.... Two funny moments: 1) In the dark a guy tripped over Paul McCartney's foot and Paul half caught him. The guy said thanks and Kept walking oblivious as to who he had tripped over. 2) At one point a late arriver came down the aisle looking for his seat and stood next to the seated McCartney while he worked out where he was supposed to be sitting..... and then walked off. The catch?: This bloke had a big 'Beatles' bag over his shoulder!! Lol!
 16. Just received a bass from Japan. 5 days door to door with EMS shipping. A lot easier/faster/cheaper than buying from the US!
 17.
Well i went into My local Sound Control Today and saw a beautiful Spector Euro, I honestly didnt pay attention to the exact model, But i think it was the same as the one tht was recently reviewed on this site. Natural, PJ Config, about 900 quid. Anyway, It sounded brilliant through an ampeg combo they had out. But the Pickups just got in my way, the curved back just put things at a wierd angle, the screws on the side of the pickups where too curved and my thumb slipped off them. All silly stuff which left me quite dissapointed!
You needed to get that thing on a strap. The curved back fits around your beer belly..... After that it's plain sailing.....

 21. Nice rig! Good to see someone else using Tech21 gear! The heads are great and I've heard nothing but good things about the cabs.... I have the Tech21 Landmark 600 Head and it ROARS!!!! Especially through my Mesa/Boogie Diesel 2x15EV!

 23. Have a bump for a GREAT bass!! Just sold mine (couldn't get on with that unnecessary extra string) to buy another Spector 4 ^_^
 24.
Hey cetera, when did you flog the destroyer? was it an old model from the 80s?
Wow, it must be 15 years ago now.... I traded it in again a Bass Collection SB301 at the time.... Yep, it was an old 80's model with cream coloured P/J pickups...
 25. This is a GREAT amp! Highly recommended! I have the Landmark 600 as I didn't feel the 300 was powerful enough for my needs. Have a free BUMP on me!
