  2. Your a big guy Daryl, sure you could've sorted him out for your share. Dave
  3. Aha - that may explain why the thing sounds so damned good! Was it you that sold it to The Moo?
  4. No probs, they are a big of a marmite brand tbf. GLWTS
  5. Here's my latest bass build... Built from reclaimed Scaffold Boards and old floorboards with a mystery veneer on top.....🤟🏻👍🏻
  6. Are you interested in any trades at all?
  7. Yet sporting eight inches...! GWS
  8. I'd like to say I'm shocked that he's got that wrong 🙄
  9. Welcome Charles.
  10. Can't comment on how good relative to Behringer as never owned latter. But definitely better preamps and IEM experience than with our Soundcraft Sig.12MTK, and has excellent channel EQ options. Very happy to recommend.
  11. A fair few small marks, but in fully working order. Really useful pitch shifting/tracking pedal, with separate FX mix output Fishman Fission Bass Powerchord FX Pedal lets any bassist lay down beds of power by adding stacked harmonies over their bass lines. Through an intuitive set of controls and footswitches, several combinations of octaves, 4th and 5th above the root note combine to produce powerchords or octave-up effects. The four footswitch LEDs give you visible indication of the selected harmony. When the effect is off, the LEDs dim making it easy to set up a harmony before you kick on the chord. It’s also a multi-effect pedal with up to 3 voices of harmony, adjustable noise gate, overdrive, tone and effect level. This power-effect combo gives you creative control over anything from subtle octaves to thick, grinding effects that even your guitar player will envy. Housed in a lightweight, yet sturdy metal enclosure, Fission Bass uses state-of-the-art 32-bit signal processing and 24-bit audio conversion. Its monophonic input accepts a wide range of pickups. The mix output is perfect for single amp operation and an effect-only output for feeding a dedicated guitar amp. 4.7”L x 7.4”W x 2.1”H Battery: 9-Volt battery or adaptor (compatible with Fishman 910-R power supply) Battery Life: 27 hours Features: Creates stacked harmonies above the root note: - Octave up - Octave & 5th up - 4th & Octave up - Octave up, 5th up & 2nd octave up Unique footswitch LEDs let you ‘see’ the harmony before you kick it on Noise Gate control Overdrive control Tone control Effect Level control
  12. Connector plate hole cut out - I cut it a bit undersize then chamfered the edge, and I may well do the same thing for the speaker hole. Port hole also cut. Router jig ordered to cut circular hole. Battens applied to sides. Due to a dose of flu, I've called a short halt because bouts of dizziness and power tools don't mix. I have a feeling that I may need to sand down the sides of the front and rear panels as they're a tiny bit short and a tiny bit fat.
  13. Now reduced to a Basschat exclusive price of £150!
  14. Immaculate 2014 Fender American Standard Precision with the best spec of this series: lightweight tuners, custom shop pickups, etc. Weight 4.0kg. The condition is almost mint, just a slight rough edge on headstock. The previous owner (from the band Vomit) had a black pickguard fitted at the time of purchase from Thomann and left a colourful set of stickers on the case! I have the Thomann box for shipping. Set up by the Gallery with Slinky flats. Fender case and candy plus strap locks, which were fitted for a time. I've used it for a couple theatre shows with lots of positive comments but it's not getting played enough, hence the sale. Price £1050 plus courier or collect from East Finchley London N2.
  15. VFE Mini Mu, A fantastic clone of the renowned Mutron III auto wah/envelope circuit. Open to trades.
  16. Connect the two 1+ together and the two 1- together. Connect the 1+ to the +/red of the speaker and 1- to the -/black. And I use thin neoprene draught proofing strip. Unfortunately I've bought both 1mm thick and 3mm thick so I don't know which one I used on my previous builds, but it was 10mm wide.
  17. Hi, been playing bass for about 10 months now. 3 years of guitar 🎸 before that. Only bought a short scale bass to complement the guitar, now seems to be my main instrument. My guitar teacher tells me that I am a natural bass player. Completed Fender Play rock guitar in 2 and a half years, completed Fender Play bass in 6 months. Now half thinking about trying to find people my own level to communicate with.
  18. Guessing the tone thing is a switch with a lot of capacitors. Seems dear for what it is... Think with smaller push pull pot you could have the blend as the volume than two volumes.
  19. Super clean example of these killer Japanese made basses, in the less common sunburst finish. The neck lacquer has been professionally rubbed back to a fast satin feel Looking for trades of Passive P basses. (I have other Bass/Guitar gear I can add to the deal if required) More images to follow shortly.
  20. It will help prevent rattles as well, if there is no gasket supplied with the plate. Please could you share your wiring diagram for the speakon sockets please. I have no idea how to wire them together so that you can daisy chain cabs.
  21. I've got to admit I kind of want one now.
