@Bill Fitzmaurice, my Bassman 1x15 cab has this wadding, but only on the back. Are there any benefits in covering all the internal surfaces?

… it’s a decent pedal, I currently run it clean at church as this seems to suit how I play there. At home I do like to add a little bit of hair/grit etc, but not much. It can go full on if wanted, but not my thing tbh. Adds a nice ‘vibe’ to the sound easily. Always a bit odd describing sound with words, but there you go 🤣

Its that time of year when my wife tells me not to buy anything and to put it on my christmas list. Unfortunately the dog has eaten all my socks and I'm down to my laat two pairs. So I bought some more on Saturday. So. 1. Socks I also bought 2 pairs of jeans brown and black - as I can't wear my curent ones out for any Xmas parties. 2. Jeans (I may or may not wear them, then they can be wrapped and I'll open them) 3. Trail running shoes - I'll buy them and they can wrap them. 4. DMX WiFi transmitter/recievers - I'll ask for Amazon vouchers and buy them after. 5. A new bass - no idea what, 3 string, possibly Ibanez - I don't need one - I doubt I'll find one.... 1-3 are dead certs. 4 I may change my mind. 5 may stay on the list for the next 10 years... -
Last two things available: Aion Lab Series L4 £95 posted Fairfield Shallow Water clone in 125b £160 posted some wee pricedrops there -wasn't really intending to drop the price on the Shallow Water clone as I like it a lot - I dunno if I updated the decription but it's not got a nice DC jack on it at the right size (!) and I rebaised the bucket brigade chip so it sounds lovely. -

Master built Warwick Vampyre 5 and Peavey amps? That is really quite esoteric taste in gear you have, if I might say so. Nothing wrong with Warwick basses (or Peavey amps) but a Vampyre? Are you sure? -
That's one option, but you don't need 50 meters. You should be able able to find the same polyester batting in a useful size at fabric shops, it's used for pillows and furniture upholstery.

But a closer look at the pictures and a read of the spec, tells a very different story. I'm curious as to the string spacing at the bridge, and also what kind of music you mean in this sentence : ".. More strings that I didn't like. They're great on my American Jazz, but I don't like them on my Vintera. Cut for Fender spacing and used for about an hour. £35 posted -

… I’ve done a bit of digging and it’s the rubberised coating that was used for grip/aesthetics and is a fairly common thing apparently on multiple products, not just Moog end cheeks and mod wheels. Hopefully it’s just the coating that is unstable and not the base plastic. I’ll report back on how it cleans up when I get around to doing it 👍🏻

It was nice to play. He says that he just takes that along to sessions now rather than 4 basses. It's got a block of three pickups which can be switched into various combinations.
