  2. Bugger, missed that 😭. If it falls through...................
  3. TC Electronic Vortex Flanger Mini with power adaptor and original packaging. If I remember rightly, this has the Mark King 'Sweet Minger' Tone Print onboard. Excellent condition, barely used. £50 inc postage to anywhere in the UK or Ireland.

    Darkglass Anagram

The QC is good at adding a little more/less gain to captures (did this for guitar rather than bass but same rules I suppose) haven’t tried it with these NAM in the anagram as they come with 3 distortion levels to pick from as you’d expect so little need. Although I don’t think you’d get good results anywhere taking a clean capture and trying to gain it up to distortion
  5. The weight is 4.9 kg and the neck is Wenge. Additional photos, attached. Bass is from 2016.

To be fair it takes some beans to distort a 300W SVT on its own
  7. You'll be looking at the oddly named. P5 4-string. They're very good basses.
  8. Thanks. No nitro finish here anyway. I found some 91% alcohol IPA. I guess I can find a cotton cloth / old t-shirt. You wouldn't use a soft paper hand towel even on flats?
  9. Used condition works fine
  10. … these are the best value used comps on the market tbh!!
  11. Lovely looking bass. As well as the truss-rod, do these have carbon rods reinforcing the neck?
  12. That's interesting. My impression was that they were very similar to La Bella 760xx.
  13. Boss OBD-3 great condition, comes with original box which I annoyingly can’t upload a photo of 🥲
  14. 25th May 2007 here. Was also on the old site! Be interesting to know how many people came from Bassworld and are still active on Basschat.
  15. Yes will do
  16. C'est un forum anglais où l'anglais est la langue à utiliser, me semble-t-il, non... ?
  17. I think the 212 cabs were 4ohms. The website shows the newer 1200W one at 4 ohms. I'd prefer the 4ohm version to get the max from my Mesa TT800. At 8ohms it would only put out 400W and might struggle in some of the venues i play. If you could let me know that would be great. Dave
  18. In fact, they sound like the Thomastik JF, without the high price tag and their super smooth touch, and with more tension, of course.
  19. This is what I mean by "mistake" - as in, not working as intended. It feels like such an obvious omission that it can't be intended
  20. Had a GK1001RBii and couldn't take to it. Was very loud but just couldn't get a sound i liked. Dave
  21. I have a Status Shark Pro-active sunburst 4-string. Great bass, plays well. Set up as a piccolo but I've not played it for years. Probably because the piccolo set came with an unwound 'G' which feels weird.
  22. New bass arrived in this gig bag and I’ve bought a hard case so shifting the gig bag on, good as new unused
  23. Used to play that in early 80's and loved it then and that's a great version of it. Very nice indeed and that sound effect works really well with it. Great to see a 3 piece band cover songs like this. Dave
  24. Not arguing with that at all, I’ve captured most of my stuff at a variety of settings to get the widest range of useful captures. Again not questioning the quality of the model, purely pointing out that Id expect a capture to have at least some breakup when pushed. Possibly depends on what input signal was used to train it I guess though.
  25. Today
  26. I had one, it was absolutely awesome. Great basses.
