  2. 1950s German. Under UV light.
  3. Little and large(r).
  4. That is an amusing thought, particularly given the headache it's causing my mechanic. But no, it's definitely MY van. I have a Morris band practice on Monday and I need to take double bass, I guess my bass uke might have to get a trip out.
  5. Apologies, missed this when you posted - yes I do, it only didn't go to the tip this week as the weather was so cr@p...... Will hang onto it if you're up for collecting
  6. No box or manual. Some cosmetic wear as expected for a used pedal, but it functions exactly as it should. £50 Postage: ~£10 UK at cost Collection available in / around Edinburgh.
  7. Aston SwiftShield portable acoustic isolation screen, ideal for improving recordings in untreated rooms. Great for vocals, voiceover work, podcasts, or acoustic instruments. Foldable, lightweight, and very easy to position on a mic stand. Helps reduce room reflections and background noise, giving you a tighter, more controlled sound when recording at home. Brand new in box £30 Postage at cost (around £10 UK) Collection available in / around Edinburgh.
  8. Those Boba Fuzz pedals are fantastic, it's a 1:1 clone of the Zvex Mammoth with an added mids control on the Body dial. Looks like Vinnie's knocked his eBay shop on the head as well so there's no new ones available
  9. Well-used Keeley Bassist compressor, in fully working condition. Cosmetically it’s not in great nick, but functionally it’s exactly as it should be. Includes original box manual / paperwork Velcro on the base, as it’s lived on a board. Anyone who knows the Bassist will know how good these are, simple, transparent, and very effective compression. £90 Happy to meet in / around Edinburgh, or can post for around £10 UK at buyer’s cost.
  10. Very good condition BOSS RC-3 looper, lightly used and in full working order. Comes with original box and manual. Velcro on the base, but otherwise very tidy. £100 Happy to meet in / around Edinburgh, or can post for around £10 UK at buyer’s cost.
  11. I agree - has me debating if I need two.
  12. Classic Japanese OC-2. Fully working. Cosmetically quite rough (reflected in the price). I don’t know the exact age and I’m not sure whether the ACA → 9V mod has been done, however: • Works perfectly on battery • Works perfectly when powered from my TU-3 (daisy-chain) • Tracks as expected and sounds exactly as an OC-2 should Currently fitted with a different BOSS base plate with Velcro on it, but includes the original rubber base and screws. No original box or manual. £150 UK postage: £10 Happy to meet in / around Edinburgh, or post at buyer’s cost

  13. My old bass which I owned just short of three years. The Sledge colour is a proper chameleon and goes like this in direct sunlight or under stage lights.... As far as I know this is the only officially imported rosewood board Sledge Sabre imported by the official UK distributor. Also Robert is a top basschatter and straight up guy. GLWTS! Keir
  14. The static wash they use at every gig looks good.
  15. Just got a Harley Benton EUB! Yay! Anyone in the Bromley/Orpington/SE London area available to give lessons? Or maybe someone willing to run me through “how I switch from bass guitar without hurting myself” sort of stuff? It has a bow so I’d love help with how I use that! Cheers Wombat
  16. I mentioned this in the DMX thread. Although I have 4 par cans that are 4 chanel so I can run all 4 off two pages of faders by setting adresses to 1, 5, 9 and 13. My mini spots are 5 chanel? Go Figure. To keep the desk simple I program 1, 9, 1, 9. Losing about 12 channels, but I don't have hundreds of fixtures and multiple universes. This is where software comes in handy. Useful to have a cheat sheet printed referencing each page, fixture and what chanels you're using. In case you want to alter lights on the fly instead of using programmed scenes. Essential when programming anyway.
  17. Hi Chris, Seems I don’t automatically get a notification when someone replies! I’ve PM’d you the number. Terry
  18. Have you considered the possibility that it is not, in fact, your van, but that of a neighbour (same colour, by coincidence...)..? He/she is having the same issues trying to open your van..! ...
  19. This one is almost new. Strings from factory still have life in them…plays like butter! Includes original case.

  23. Morris band practice on Thursday: Our violinist doesn't do practice sessions, our mandolinist was ill, our band leader (clarinet) was unavailable and my van is off the road [1], so taking my double bass to practice wasn't possible. So with very little preparation I took my Roland piano accordion... and it was one of the best practices we've had in a long time! Perhaps there is something to be said for shaking things up once in a while. [1] and is still off the road - the central locking module is not recognising the key fob 'beepers' and putting the key in the door lock doesn't unlock the doors.
  24. Each data packet is 512 bytes and it runs at a baud rate of 250kbps. What issues are you encountering at 2.4GHz?
