    That is an amusing thought, particularly given the headache it's causing my mechanic. But no, it's definitely MY van. I have a Morris band practice on Monday and I need to take double bass, I guess my bass uke might have to get a trip out.

    Well-used Keeley Bassist compressor, in fully working condition. Cosmetically it’s not in great nick, but functionally it’s exactly as it should be. Includes original box manual / paperwork Velcro on the base, as it’s lived on a board.     Classic Japanese OC-2. Fully working. Cosmetically quite rough (reflected in the price). I don’t know the exact age and I’m not sure whether the ACA → 9V mod has been done, however: • Works perfectly on battery • Works perfectly when powered from my TU-3 (daisy-chain) • Tracks as expected and sounds exactly as an OC-2 should Currently fitted with a different BOSS base plate with Velcro on it, but includes the original rubber base and screws.     My old bass which I owned just short of three years. The Sledge colour is a proper chameleon and goes like this in direct sunlight or under stage lights.... As far as I know this is the only officially imported rosewood board Sledge Sabre imported by the official UK distributor. Also Robert is a top basschatter and straight up guy. GLWTS! Keir

    I mentioned this in the DMX thread. Although I have 4 par cans that are 4 chanel so I can run all 4 off two pages of faders by setting adresses to 1, 5, 9 and 13. My mini spots are 5 chanel? Go Figure. To keep the desk simple I program 1, 9, 1, 9. Losing about 12 channels, but I don't have hundreds of fixtures and multiple universes. This is where software comes in handy. Useful to have a cheat sheet printed referencing each page, fixture and what chanels you're using. In case you want to alter lights on the fly instead of using programmed scenes. Essential when programming anyway.

    Have you considered the possibility that it is not, in fact, your van, but that of a neighbour (same colour, by coincidence...)..? He/she is having the same issues trying to open your van..! ...

    Morris band practice on Thursday: Our violinist doesn't do practice sessions, our mandolinist was ill, our band leader (clarinet) was unavailable and my van is off the road [1], so taking my double bass to practice wasn't possible. So with very little preparation I took my Roland piano accordion... and it was one of the best practices we've had in a long time! Perhaps there is something to be said for shaking things up once in a while. [1] and is still off the road - the central locking module is not recognising the key fob 'beepers' and putting the key in the door lock doesn't unlock the doors.

    Each data packet is 512 bytes and it runs at a baud rate of 250kbps. What issues are you encountering at 2.4GHz?
