  2. Definitely US. This came from a parts bass made by a Sadowsky employee. No real markings on it to identify as such. The pickups were scrubbed out and headstock left blank for fear of repercussions. I still have the neck - Brazillian rosewood fingerboard, Graphtech nut, Schaller tuners.
  3. La Bella 760FX Flatwound Strings Used for approximately 4 hours. Cut for Fender style head. £30 including postage.
  4. Although with Gardiner Houlgate, the buyer's fee and seller's fee total around 50% so the seller gets about 50% of what the seller pays (about 75% of the hammer price).
  5. Everything you need for your Precision or P style bass! Tonerider Precision pickups, Kiogon solderless loom (250k CTS pots, Polydrop cap, Switchcraft jack) and Allparts knobs. Parts from project bass now disassembled. £100 posted.

If we're still on this side of the pond next summer, we're definitely going. NY is closer, but I'd love to go to the Toronto show and get those hometown vibes. Not seen Rush since Wembley Arena in 1992 and I'd love to see them again. Anika is a monster drummer and will be a great successor for Neil. I'm sure there's people out there who might have preferred to see Danny Carey or Mike Portnoy, but I think she's a great choice. She's got the chops and the groove to do it justice. As for those thinking this is cynical - it's been ten years. It's their band and the fact that they haven't done anything for ten years suggests that they are doing this on their own terms. And it's being done with the full blessing on Neil's family. The Foo Fighters were back out there a few months after Taylor Hawkins passed away and you didn't find too many people saying that about them. The Who had a gig three days after John Entwistle died!
  8. Rory bought my EBS session and ended up waiting over two weeks for the Xpress 48Hr delivery. A very nice, and very patient chap. Great comms, fast payment. Perfect BCer.
  9. D'Addario .100 XL roundwound single strings. Two available. Brand new, uncut, unstrung. £5 each.
  10. Cioks DC7 and 4
  11. I suspect that shipping from the USA would make it prohibitively expensive for most of us.
  12. Diago Twistlock straplocks. Innovative straplock design which is highly underrated. Spare set available - brand new & sealed. £9 posted.
  13. Boss BCB1000 https://www.boss.info/global/products/bcb-1000/ I would argue this is one of the best mid sized pedalboards available. Basically a pedaltrain 2 but not as deep. Wheels in the lid with a suitcase style make moving this around a dream. Dual lock will easily come off, I spent 3 days cleaning this of the old velcro and have been unable to commit to it since.
  14. Brass saddles for bridge. Brand new - never used. £7 posted.

  16. If they were going out as 'Geddy, Alex & Friends Perform The Music Of Rush' or something, it'd seem a little bit less - I don't want to say it - but cynical. I don't think I'll be going.
  17. Just adding the obligatory comment about being offered one for -£300 in the 80s
  18. Caught a band in Brighton a few years ago… the bass player was playing a Ric through a Trace with a 4x10 cab… and the tone was absolutely perfect. 👍

I'm not saying they shouldn't do it, but I wish they wouldn't do it. If Geddy and Alex want to get out there playing music together again, fantastic. Get this drummer and keyboard player in and start a new band. Trust me, people would turn out to see them in droves. They've got nothing to prove, their legend is intact. They should leave it that way.
  20. Excellent.
