My mate has found what appears to be and old Selmer Thunderbird 50 Mkii lurking in the corner of a studio he has recently become responsible for sorting out. It's pretty tatty and doesn't turn on but he had the sense to put it to one side. A bit of research suggests it is worth a bit so I think he is planning to sell it to fund some improvements (the studio is part of a local community project). Mr. Foxen Posted June 15, 2010 Share Posted June 15, 2010 There is an amp tech working from PMT as it now is, formerly Reverb, formerly Sound Control, in Bristol, get him to give it a once over and you should be good to go. I know a dude travels between Bath and Bristol fairly often and likes touching old valve amps, so might even get a ride for it to here, as I'm not up to much and not far from the shop. Also on Denmark St, Wunjo - they like unusual stuff, and have dealt with them a couple of times - good prices and no hassle.
