I think I'm going to buy a load of Westones and sell them in Germany...
No need - you can list them at ridiculous prices & watch them fail to sell here, too:

Antoria badged Gibby copy. I'm not sure exactly which are the EB0 or EB3 copies, but it's in the SG style bass ballpark. Bolt on neck. Not too high a starting bid, surely it will sell.

In total, there seems to be quite a lot of metal on this bass.

Edit: I shouldn't be so lazy. Looking at: http://www.vintageguitars.org.uk/gib62p16.php, with the double pickup and four knobs, this is an EB3 copy, though I presume the original is set-neck. The slightly odd looking bridge is modelled after the Gibson original, and the Antoria looks a quite close copy, apart from the neck. I hadn't heard of the EB6 before! That'd be a beast!

The Ibanez equivalents are on sale for quite a lot: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/VINTAGE-IBANEZ-EB-23...=item41557f2b89

Prices there seem a bit steep. And he's selling a couple of BaCH basses without warranty - one's the same price as you can get new from BaCH, the other's more expensive.

I'll be interested to see what the Antoria sells for - this is actually the 3rd one of these to come up in the last month or so - the previous two didn't do particularly well, I assume mostly because the sellers were too lazy to either accurately describe the basses or to post them. I strongly suspect this is one of those two, being flipped.

The Ibanez is very expensive - I can't see that getting even £300 in a straight auction.

Would the Antoria bass be Fujigen made?

This is from the US, and I usually don't post foreign sourced listings, but I thought a MIJ (claimed) Hondo Longhorn bass interesting. Not sure I've seen one of those before. All the 70s MIJ Antorias were Fujigen - for the most part identical to their Ibanez counterparts, right down to the catalogue numbers.

Certainly never seen a Hondo Longhorn in real life, but it's in this catalogue:

http://www.bossarea.com/aria/hondo/page6.jpg

Spec here:

http://www.bossarea.com/aria/hondo/page5.jpg

Could well be MIJ as a few of the better quality Hondos were at this point - that said MIK quality was decent by the early 80s, so there's no way to tell from those pics.

A bit high but probably not too far off, considering this considerably more common Force 40 sold for £230-odd. Nice profit margin on that one... :)

Those Force 40's are very nice. I do like the trans sunbursts on these washburns!

Once again, I'm allotting "honorary JapCrap" status to the Gherson brand.

This is quite interesting:

That's a remarkable looking thing. Why are the pictures always so guff for the most interesting-looking basses? I'd love a good look at that.

Unfortunately not enough to actually buy it though... :)

Half tempted to this. Whilst working in Naples a few years ago, I tried one that belonged to a friend. Quite a nice bass, I recall - wish I'd bought it off him. It's a Gherson 'Finger Picar' - daft name or what! :)

This had a £75 BIN last night - can't understand why people start bidding on things that are obvious bargains. I was quite tempted myself - I have the guitar version of this and it would be sort of cool to have the pair.

If the guitar's anything to go on, these are pretty decent - proper humbuckers, veneered timber bodies, nice binding & inlays etc. Certainly a long way ahead of many of the EB-0 copies you see.

Another classic description
I have had this Bass Guitar serviced recently by my guitar Tech everything is working well. His advice was that I buy a new neck.
So that'll be everything working well except the neck.

I'm not convinced that Alembic would be flattered by the comparison ...
