As before i picked this up on fleebay pretty cheep , im happy with it in every sence but my findings are that its very limited (theres only a couple of setting on it that i find work nicely i.e theres a very fine line between getting a nice sound out of it an mushy noise??) so again ... same question... who uses what much thanx again Dan.. Gareth Hughes Posted December 9, 2009 Share Posted December 9, 2009 I'm using the old faithful Boss OC-2. It's usable but not without it's quirks. Aside from the obvious wiggle on forced notes, it's got a distorted synth sound that you either love or hate. I also use a Micro POG, This is a digital octaver therefore the tracking is perfect even on a low E. Not as warm as the EBS though. ahpook Posted December 10, 2009 Share Posted December 10, 2009 i use a pearl oc-07 octaver (1 or 2 down and one kind of octave up fuzz) tracks down to C...i like it - i use it with the techno band i play with - it's great for the breakdowns and drops.
