i have a black Peavey T-40 with a maple neck from 1983 that i'm considering letting go (purely because i have 2 the same and it seems a bit OTT)

its in pretty good shape for something (almost) as old as i am, a few dings and scrapes here and there but nothing too serious. I replaced the toggle switch for the pickup selection because it was broken but i couldn't find the exact type (check the pics, the replacement is smaller) i also bought a replacement truss rod cover as it was missing, other than that everything is original to the best of my knowledge.

since replacing the selector switch i bought the right type of toggle from a T40 parted out on ebay (US) which is the exact one but i haven't got round to fitting it yet (soooooo many pickguard screws!!!) so i'll either fit it for you if want or leave it as it is or include it so you can solder it in yourself at some point... your call.

anyone who wants more pictures or whatever just drop me a PM and i'll sort it, i have a few more pictures of the bass and i took some more close up shots of the imperfections but i don't really want to overload the post with billions of pics (i think the ones above give enough to go on for sparking initial interest or not)

Thanks
Matt

thanks for the replies/offers gents, neither of those basses are quite what i'm after (yeah i know, it would have probably helped if i was more specific to begin with!)

gonna go through the PM's i've recieved now and let you guys know what i think... there quite a few fenders on offer which for some reason amuses me.

i'll start giving the trade thing a bit more thought now and list a few more alternatives (there are some lovely basses on here at the moment giving me inspiration)

keep the offers coming!

Hi, lovely bass.
I have been considering selling/trading my Ibanez Electro Acoustic for a little while, although I'm not 100% sure,

I haven't taken any photos of mine but it is in good condition, with some minor nicks on the back of the neck.
Interested at all?
Edd

You mentioned in the original post about trading + cash for a guitar. I have a '97 Heritage H150CM with vintage Gibson pickups (1 patent number, 1 T top) that I'd trade but I'd want about £450 on top. Also you're in Plymouth and I'm in Oxfordshire, and I'd much prefer we could try each other's gear before trading.
