Cantdosleepy
Great video! But yeah, stick me in the "No, thanks" camp. I can see what all the fuss is about, and I respect them all tremendously as musicians, but I don't like the music. Quite like Cannibal Corpse Thanks for the video, though! Always great to see a band doing what they do.

bass_ferret
If everyone in the world or on basschat had the same taste the world would be a boring place. So if you dont think the Who were the greatest (in their prime), dont think the Ox was the greatest, its not your fault. You will get over it and learn to live with it. Someone has to be in the minority - thats life. And if kids want to show off their limited ability with a Who tune - you cant knock their taste in music (well I cant anyway). Geddys nose
I must admit until I was about 25 I didn't take much notice of The Who but I became a big fan of the Moon Period, as Pete T says they where the engine of R & R in the '70's I can only imagine what the teens of the '60's thought about them when they let rip with all that aggression and full tilt Marshall stacks, 'The first Punks' yea I would say so! awesome band then but I would not pay to watch them now. Bass_In_Yer_Face
(puts tin hat on) I personally think the Who were overated....don't get me wrong...I love the singles...."Won't get fooled again", "Who are you?" , "My Generation", "I can see for miles" are all amazing tracks. It's just that beyond the singles I can't find much to float my boat i'm afraid. Still they were still better than The Beatles (ducks for cover)

acidbass
I love The Who. That performance of WGFA is (in my opinion) one of the greatest rock songs performed by one of the greatest bands ever. And the bass playing is just phenomenal! Of course everyone is entitled to their opinions, I know there are a hell of a lot of Who fans on here who'd agree with my 2 cents!
neilb
Agreed. As I said earlier, dont start me off on The Who. I could be here some time. If anyone doubts there prowess even in the later years, check out the Concert For New York on YouTube. I hate to use youth lingo, but they "pwnd" that show.
