Your favorite delay pedal?

Used to have a flashback .. long time ago.

Wonder if there is anything better in terms of clarity, tracking and friendly to low end

Which won't cost a fortune.

Moog MF Delay is my favourite .. but not cheap .. also got Seymour Duncan Vapour Trail which is also nice, it’s got interesting side feature that allows effects / vol pedal adding to delay trails if wanted .. these two both analogue, also have a cheap digital delay which is fine (sonicake) .. digital generally more clarity but I prefer the darker analogue repeats which can act almost like a ‘ducking’ delay ..

The Boss RE-202 space echo is great....it is quite pricey but the RE-2 is cheaper (or the older RE-20 is starting to get cheaper second hand).

 

.....but I didn't actually find much use for it (and the reverb it has) with Bass, e.g. dub reggae is full of delays on just about every part of the music - apart from the Bass that stays as a solid foundation. So I do have my eye on getting one again, but to use with keys rather than for Bass. Perhaps there are certain delays (or genres) that are better for Bass delays though?

I'm still using my old Boss DD-6. Works great.

 

I'm not sure delays have tracking issues at all though.

Digitech hardwire DL8 gets my vote. 

Shelved now by a super capable keeley echosystem, but ill likley hold onto it forever. Its very good.

I don’t use delay often, but I used to enjoy the ‘wobble’ I could get from the EQD Disaster Transport, but these days I’m into the ‘reverse delay’ effect on the Line 6 M5; a little goes a long way!
