Lozz196 Posted January 28 Posted January 28 (edited) ORANGES! Looks great though, a very individual look at gigs I’d think. Edited January 28 by Lozz196 1 Quote

80Hz Posted January 28 Posted January 28 Very cool (to me) and a further demonstration that tort goes with everything! Where did the body acquire its orange sparkle? Custom refinish? 1 Quote

Where did the body acquire its orange sparkle? Custom refinish? Yes done by Bow Finishing. The finish is absolutely flawless but they’re not cheap. I had a P body in Tidepool and really couldn’t gel with it, so got this done. Also bought a loaded pickguard from an American Professional II and a Mexican neck, Hipshot tuners. Only fiddly bits were cutting the nut slots and soldering in the two ground wires. 1 Quote

three Posted Wednesday at 23:46 Posted Wednesday at 23:46 Bow are incredible - flawless work. Brilliant choice of finish - bold but fab 1 Quote
BassApprentice Posted Thursday at 08:03 Posted Thursday at 08:03 It's great to see a fun finish. Don't get me wrong, black and white basses are all well and good, but not exactly much fun. With Sire and Sterling now doing swirl and sparkle finishes, bring on the the fun revolution! 1 Quote
Grooverjr Posted Friday at 02:41 Posted Friday at 02:41 So good, but why the pickguard? Let it all out! 1 Quote

But when I put it on after the refinish it did upset me to cover up so much of the orange sparkle. Quote
Big Low End Posted Saturday at 11:42 Author Posted Saturday at 11:42 Bass had its first live outing last night. I think it’s safe to say orange sparkle is a Marmite finish, judging by the mixture of comments afterwards 😄 1 Quote
