Shift the "Edited just now" notification

Question

Posted

Posts have a "Posted N hours ago" at the top, but if you edit a post, an "Edited just now" note is placed at the bottom.

I've taken to adding a couple of extra blank lines when I edit a post to leave a gap there.

Would it be possible to shift the "Edited" note to the top instead, alongside the "Posted" item?

Here's an example from another forum:

I might be missing something here but what difference does the line make

It allows the reader to savour the content.  Like a good wine, posts should have room to breathe.  The edited by line is in bold type and draws the eye away from the content by being too close.

Heeheehee.

It's a minor annoyance.  It's easy enough to add extra space at the time of posting.

That’s a workaround, not a solution.

That's very true.
