Geek99 Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago (edited) The battery went flat (my fault) and I wanted to check active mode worked after putting new batteries in I knew that the passive mode does a fairly good jazz bass sound but switching to active with it’s totally separate tone control (para mid eq plus treble plus bass) you can get a fairly good p bass tone. the levels are about the same, so I can switch the two sounds instantly using the active switch and it’s a 5 Edited 1 hour ago by Geek99 2 Quote

ghostwheel Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago A rationalist is a person or philosopher who believes that reason is the primary source of knowledge and the best test for truth, rather than emotion or sensory experience. Quote
Geek99 Posted 1 hour ago Author Posted 1 hour ago If @ghostwheel you had experienced my moment of joy at the discovery of two iconic bass sounds in one nice instrument you would not call me a rationalist These are my settings, switch set to passive, three knobs to right are the active control (my p bass approximation) hope this helps someone two knobs to left are jazz bass approximation (tone is stacked on volume) 1 Quote
Lozz196 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Sounds ideal as an all in one bass. Just need another one as backup…… But seriously it sounds great, ideal for a covers band and for studio work having both sounds at your fingertips. 1 Quote
