Jack Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago I just got an advert for a sale at Andertons in my browser's discover section. There's not too much bass stuff there but in fairness what there is does look pretty reduced. If you happen to be shipping for mostly Warwick and Sire you'd be paying used prices for new gear. Not for me, just passing it along. 1 2 Quote
Jack Posted 14 hours ago Author Posted 14 hours ago Yeah but pity the poor sod who paid £5k yesterday. Or those PRS with the casual £2500 off, that probably stings if you got one last week. Quote
binky_bass Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago Who'd of thunk people might not want to pay over £7000 for a bass made from a piece of wood half eaten by worms! I suppose there's merit in the experimental nature of the build, but with a pre-clearance price of over £7000, you'd have to be utterly insane to buy one... 3 Quote
Stub Mandrel Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago Looks to me like they seriously overstocked on custom shop telecasters. Quote
Jack Posted 12 hours ago Author Posted 12 hours ago Don't you guys know that "each of the worm-holes in fact acted as a sort of resonating chamber resulting in a lightweight instrument laced with unparalleled acoustic properties and overtones"? Luddites. 2 Quote
tauzero Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Interesting that the Zoom MS-200D+ is in there as it's still a current pedal. And it's a bit surprising that there's a Les Paul that you have to pre-order, I'd expect a clearance item to be in stock. As for that Bacchus, couldn't they have just left the scratchplate off rather than putting on something that looks thoroughly cheap and nasty? Quote

The Fender Custom shop stuff at Andertons is a bit like the DFS sale in that I'm not sure I've ever seen it advertised without at least a grand knocked off the 'official' price. It's certainly discounted (allegedly) often enough that you'd likely be in for an unpleasant suprise a few months down the line if you paid the official price for one.
