Gretsch electromatic CVT bass

I couldn't see that a thread has been created for this, looks like a very interesting bass.

 

Medium scale, humbucker in the neck, single coil in the bridge position, looks gorgeous.

Just came here to post this. Looks great. Nice to see another medium scale bass on the scene.

Andertons has them as being in stock on July 7th........not that I'm longingly looking at the Bristol Fog finish and thinking about selling a bass to make room or anything..........

Love the look of it, but oof that's a wide pickup spacing! It'd be interesting to hear what kind of tones it can produce. The only bass I have with anything like that sort of spacing is my Hofner, and they're famously rather specific tonewise.

I've never been to Bristol, but I hope the fog doesn't look like that!

Seriously, though, I feel sorry for anyone who recently bought a Junior Jet and can't buy this one now.

It's a typical 60s, non-Fender type spacing.

 

I had a Burns Sonic with the same "wide" spacing although both pickups were identical and the best sound was with them wired in series.

I don't think I've seen any brown fog...
