…but they have just officially announced the full supporting line up…

BLIMEY!!!!! Three of my all time favourite artists together on one bill, and all ones I have yet to see in concert. I’m totally blown away by this line up. I saw a rumour about it last week but didn’t want to get my hopes up without an official announcement.

Well, that’s “Trevor’s GIG OF THE YEAR” settled six months in advance.

That is indeed a mint line up 😮👍🏼

We saw ELO at Newcastle Arena a few years back, absolutely stunning show, the sound was very, very good, but we were central on the floor around 30 rows back.

You're in for a great night Trevor! 👌🏼

ELO AND Doobie Brothers - two of my faves right there!

Good job I already had a ticket......
Even better I'm probably working it backstage during the day and watching from out front by the time the Doobs hit the stage 💜

That is going to be a barnstormer of a gig and they've got more tech behind them to maintain those layered arrangements than in the original tours.

Unfortunately it’s just been announced that due to Jeff’s failing health that The Hyde Park gig has been cancelled. So very sad.

It's going to be a major disappointment to a lot of folks, but Jeff's health has to come first.

Hope he gets well again soon......

Jeff's health must come first but I really am absolutely gutted that tomorrow's concert has been cancelled. ELO have basically been my favourite band since Telephone Line came out. This was my last and only chance to see the man performing live. A mixture of personal circumstances, long term family illnesses and other things have always precluded us seeing ELO every other time they have toured since the comeback a decade ago. Doubly upsetting that it also means missing two more of my all time favourite artists, The Doobie Brothers and Steve Winwood - neither of whom I have ever seen before (for much the same reasons as ELO). At least I’ve managed to snag three decent enough tickets for the Doobies at their O2 gig next Saturday. Takes the sting off a bit… but only a bit.

Get well soon Jeff and enjoy a well earned retirement. 😥
