Great to meet you too and put a face to the name and my love for old Fenders has been thoroughly reignited! Glad you liked the Ripper, not everyones cup of tea but I too was surprised with them the first time I played one.

I thought about this on the way back home and if I had to pick 3 basses that flicked my switch from this afternoon I think I'd narrow it down to the Yamaha BB1200, G&L silver sparkle Jazz Bass and the 73 Precision.

Great to meet you all and put usernames to faces, really appreciated the opportunity to see and play so many lovey basses, and talk music.

Just to add my thanks to Rob for the organisation and pizza, and to say that it was great to meet other bass players and listen to their playing style, and talk about bass gear. Also, thanks to our drummer for the day, whose name I didn't catch.
