Absolutely lusted after this rig back in the day - sadly I think I’ll still have to just lust after it......😕

Amazing how modern and classy it still looks; GLWTS 👍

Vaguely remember building that, very few had the Mid-Range mod added...

I recall using a Burman 4 x 12 as part of my bass rig when I was very little 😃 - back in the stack days - 2 4 x 12s and a Hiwatt 100 head, and that was a proper 100 loud bar-steward watts.

Hadn't realised the name still lives - excellent. I see Laney, Hiwatt etc around but I think they're just the name passed forward.

I'm still totally convinced there's no clever substitute for size and mass in bass systems.

Very nice rig, way beyond my budget.

I used to have a Burman Pro 400 HD back in the day, with a pair of Marhsall 4x12s.
Setting up that stack was a workout in itself!

If I'd known it would be worth £3.5k, I probably wouldn't have sold it for a couple of hundred in the 90s.

There's something about seeing a proper handwired amp that I find so appealing, especially tagstrip layouts. This one looks like a work of art GLWTS

Designed to run on KT77 valves.  Came new with Gold Lions.  I still have a set.

This is on EL34 so not putting out its fullest clean thing.

Last one I had went to Phil Manazera's studio down south.

An unbelievable piece of Bass amplification royalty. Pure quality both in construction and sound.

Absolutely amazing condition too!

Our roadies back in the day would have thrown it all head first into our transit van....
