I might have to set up a bass with a nice curve over the strings and explore tuning s but it could be worth it. They wont know the difference where I play but it could be used to great effect on softer songs. It was a monstrous 250g in weight, and sounded superb - that mass really engages with those heavy, wound strings for a good strong, clear tone.
