I particularly liked; "The original 1965 Vintage Gibson Nickel EB-0 pickup is from a bass serial number 340051. The pickup eventually died and had to be re-wired and now sounds even better than originally!"

So we have an original EB-0 pup (with the actual bass' serial number)... but it is rewound... and not even to the same spec!  :)

Why didn't the seller experiment with something cheap and nasty rather than a rather expensive American Vintage Precision. Even if it sounds and plays great they won't get anything near to the selling price they're asking.

I notice the seller has fiddled with a perfectly nice US Jazz as well. They have a very expensive hobby.

Pickup mod and then they've put a muting foam on it.
