British Leyland ?

😎

British Leyland only lasted 11 years and they were on strike most of that time.

I have to say, I like both the basses, but I dread to think how much they are asking for them.

I think it may be a case of 'if you have to ask'.

I seem to remember a youtube clip of Andertons visiting the Fender stand at NAMM last year or the year before and saying that every one of that years collection had been sold before they'd gone on show, which I think would have been before they were officially unveiled.

Most of these prove to me that less is indeed more.

One of the things that is so lovely about that Jazz Tele. There's hardly anything to it.

The bass is not my cup of tea either but it has an interesting story:

Thanks for posting. I enjoyed that.

Re. the P/J p/up configuration. I like the idea of the stack-knob controls and retaining the jack socket as part of the scratch plate, rather than a v/v/t approach, and the socket being tucked underneath the body. It’s probably been done before but I’ve not seen it like that...

I am stunned. That "Leaves of Tears" purple monstrosity has got to be the most tasteless design I've ever seen on an official Fender-branded guitar. It looks like a Warmoth bitsa assembled for an AOR band in 2005. Apparently  good judgement is an entirely optional quality for a master builder!
