It's on it's third neck, third set of pickups and electronics and 2nd set of tuners the only original part now is the body 3rd neckplate, 2nd bridge it's actually pretty battered but the pics don't show it it carries it's mojo well but it's dinked and dented and scratched with large chunks of paint missing and about five holes in the bottom from straps some with the broken screw shaft still in. But I've had it since 1992 and it stays with me for good! It was originally a 1990 mij fender '62 reissue. I've had the bassmaster nearly as long, it needs a new nut at the mo but with fresh strings that thing sounds amazing. It has a piano like tone and the bridge pickup just burps like a good un. That one is also battered but stays! Also you don't see many of them, esp not with a headstock logo like mine. I wish I hadn't been so exuberant in the days of grunge! I'm much more careful now! I have a MIJ '62 type with a basswood (which is actually lime wood) body, and I have decided that it is the best bass I have, now it has US pickups. So naturally I want another.
