1996 Ernie Ball MusicMan left handed Stingray 5: 1300 GBP obo + shipping (I'm in Spain)

Here is a chance to own a great bass at a great price. This Ernie Ball Musicman Stingray 5 - an industry standard - is in excellent condition. Terrific looks combined with unmatched playability and superior electronics make this the choice of many professional bassists. This awesome five string bass features a natural finish over a nicely figured ash body, maple fingerboard, a maple neck, 3 band onboard active EQ and a single humbucker pickup with a selector switch for series, parallel and single coil modes.

It is in excellent condition, pretty much like-new - there are two small dings in the clear coat finish near the bottom strap screw, but they are almost impossible to see with the natural finish. This bass sounds fantastic - it has that amazing MusicMan sound.

I am the first owner of this bass. I checked with the factory, this is SN L58106 - it was built on Aug 1 1996. I’ve always hade it at home – no smoke, no pets – and never took it on gigs. This is a great bass and I hate to sell it, but I use the 5-string less and less, and got a very good deal on a fretless Warwick from user wildus, which I use more and more now.

Comes with an original Yahama hard case
Thanks, yes it's a hard call.
Soundwise the Bassix is excellent and pretty easy to play even with my limited Upright experience, but the look is not for everyone.
Alan at Bassix gave me a hollow composite body which I may try to adapt if nothing comes up.
I've got Alan's prototype Banjo Bass - weird beastie but great fun!!
Had a Dean Pace - converted to leftie - nasty toy to be honest - an upright bass guitar with a thick neck and dodgy electronics!

Body is ovangkol, walnut, maple.
Neck is maple , walnut
Semour duncan quarterpounders, ets pots. 2X Volume 1x tone
Really thick slab of ebony for a fretboard.

Amazing detail in contstruction with the fretboard being lined with a sliver of maple with fret markers

Hi guys, my wife and I are expecting our first child in July so I'm thinking of selling my nicest bass to raise some cash.

It's an '89 USA made G&L L2500 5 string, and an absolute beauty. Here's a link to the original owner's for sale post: linky

I'm in for a grand, and that's what I'd like back. Any interest?

I'm looking to sell/swap a cheap beginners left handed bass. I'm a lefty but, like many others, have always played right handed. I decided to give a left handed bass a whirl but it really isn't for me.

To be completely honest with you I don't know much about basses so this is a what you see is what you get type thing. If you'd like to meet up and give it a go you're welcome to! (you'd need to bring your own amp + cable though. I've not got one on me).

Ideally I'd like to swap it for a right handed bass of similar quality (ie a beginner's bass but not quite scraping the barrel).
Otherwise I'd be willing to sell for £60 ono.

I'm located in London at the moment but will be in York by the end of the week. Around mid month I'll be in Hull so if you get back to me before Thursday I could take it up with me. I'd prefer not to post it so buyer collecting from somewhere in zones 1/2 in london would be best.

It would be brilliant for someone looking to try out a left handed instrument without spending a lot of money, it might suit you!

Very willing to negotiate on price, or maybe add a bit of cash to a swap. If you want more pictures or are interested in buying/swapping pm me :)
