Exactly  .. hopefully more growl esp with the wenge neck .. trialing some Bareknuckle 60’s PE pickups

Just a volume knob (both single coils in parallel) .. I’ve tried many different types of pickup configurations but almost always come back to both pups & tone on full .. nice & simple

swamp ash (extra light), quartersawn slim profile wenge neck, dark rosewood fretboard, Sandberg bridge, Schaller bml tuners, bkp 60’s pe pups in 70’s position (as spotted by Doctor J)  ..  will most probably stain the body black

Being kack-handed and suffering the dearth of choice off the shelf I've always been attracted to a Warmoth build. Understand if you'd rather not say but what was the rough cost of this? And what, if not cost, made you choose this over having someone in the UK build to your spec?
