Put an output block at the end of your current chain for whatever output you’re using to amp or foh. Add a return block after it and then I mapped the control to the volume or blend of the return so I could quickly adjust it. Feel free to then add some compression and light room reverb to taste. 4 Quote

New songs keep giving me new requirements, so the big board has padded out, but I decided to finally get my head properly around the HX Stomp for the little board. Testing this evening went from 100% down to 70 odd in about 3hrs 11 mins before I switched it all off. That would be more than enough for a practice or gig. jimbobothy Posted February 14 Posted February 14 … my fretted board, I thought the Fliptop would knock the Grizzly off, but it knocked off a HP/LP filter instead as I have a Sfx Microthumpinator on the utility end board anyhow! Now I have a clean and three levels of grit should I need to ‘ramp it up’ a bit at church 🤣 … I’ve currently got a Novation BB2 going into the second channel of the Red Pander 3 way mixer. I’ll shortly be putting together a board that has a tap tempo tremolo on it, should be great for that! 3rd channel will be for a fretless at some point also. 3 Quote
FretsOnFire Posted February 14 Posted February 14 After much fart arsing about I’ve decided to just go with my Zoom B3 for future rehearsals and gigs in the two cover bands I’m in. The Zoom delivers the sounds I want and is lightweight with XLR etc so a real swish army knife. 1 Quote

For more info and gushing see: https://www.talkbass.com/threads/show-me-your-compact-pedalboard-setup.891222/page-563#post-29490999 But in short I’ve finally found what I’ve been searching for, I’ll still be using the Anagram for most things but there is a core setup I’ve been chasing that I’d use in the studio or on a gig where there was a competent soundman and provided IEMs. This board is that, aspirational in terms of the gigs it would be used on but perfect tonally and something that if I only use at home I’ll be fine with. One of the issues with digital is I feel you still need a good analog (pun intended) to make sure you’re not drifting to close to crap, an issue that’s easily possible when you have a unit that can do anything. Maybe I’ll capture what I’ve got going on here, maybe I’ll add in the Camden and capture all that, but one rig is plug and play and the other is plug and play after about 5 hours of programming and comparisons. Anyway enjoy the board with 3 xlr’s and 1 effect 🙃 3 Quote
