Thunderpaws
Just watching this recording from 1982. What a damn near perfect bass sound. Immense. Shame his presence in the video feed is minuscule compared to the audio feed though.
Cosmo Valdemar
Alembic in stereo - true sonic majesty.
Beedster
I was bored, no matter what sound quality or technical wizadry might be on tap, bored musicians always disappoint.
spectoremg
Just listened to a couple of tracks through headphones; toppy, middy, distorted, not a fundamental in sight - everything that's bad about a bass sound.

Maude
I keep reading the title as "Who lives at the Shea Stadium". I don't know Loyd Grossman, who does live in the Shea Stadium?

Highfox
Tasty playing and nice tone imo. Good band on support that night as well
The-Ox
His Alembics were deadly, although it saddens me to say that i think John caught a case of lead guitar syndrome in the 80s and 90s

I've lost count of the times I've been listening to a good bass solo while the cameraman is focused on a guitarist playing very little.
