Headless hardware parts

Recommended Posts

Any suggestions folks?

Looking into buying some headless bits - tuner/ bridge headpiece.

There doesn't seem to be a huge choice ABM, ETS and Hipshot.

Any other recommendations?
Good suppliers?

Bass parts or Thomann are current contenders.

I ordered ABM single bridge tuners & headpiece from Thomann but the headpiece was listed wrongly as it doesn't accommodate double ballend strings so I sent them back, however the quality was great. I then sourced an ETS bridge & tailpiece and a Status headpiece, also great quality & has really improved my Yamaha BBN5, now the B string (actually drop A) is fine where it wasn't great before, I can only attribute this to the increased mass of the hardware ....

Seller in Ireland does this set, it looks like it's based heavily on the Steinberger-licensed design used by Hohner:
