If you like Disturbed, Panic Cell are ace, cracking UK band who've now sadly split. Drowning Pool and Soil are worth a look too if you're into that sort of thing :)

+1 to Panic Cell - good fun. Our old band supported them at an Exeter gig back in the day.

Agree with the suggestions of Cynic and Mastodon. I still maintain that 'The Poison' by Bullet for my Valentine is a great metal album despite their other hit-and-miss cases. Opeth are groovy as feck - Blackwater Park album is one of my favourites for headbanging metal.

I don't think a Disturbed thread would be complete without

Was wondering why I hadn't posted this. :D

I've got a real thing for this kind of metal lately, it's just all about the energy and people being able to join in. I've been trying to form a band around these lines for ages but finding the right vocalist is a sodding nightmare...

Current Listens :
Egypt Central
Atreyu
Adelitas Way

Five Finger Death Punch another terrible band! Like a dumbed down version of Dillinger Escape Plan.

Even if it is a side project, Killer Be Killed released a stonker of an album last year.

FFDP are nothing like Dillinger who are awesome but totally in a different style, FFDP War Is The Answer isnt too bad though

Never been a fan of Disturbed, although they're OK if played in a club when you're drunk I suppose! I remember the whole nu-metal thing well, hell I even saw Korn play London in 1995 (makes me feel old just to remember that  ), and to be honest I was always more into the weirder end of it.

Still, I suppose that you can think of them as a gateway drug! :D

Took us months to find our vocalist. We've been through more members than Anthrax before we'd played to anybody though!
