Bass amp as a hi-fi stereo amp??

I have a SVT3 Pro that I don't appear to be able to sell.

I want to buy a new turntable and separates.

Is there a way to adapt the SVT3Pro to be able to use it as the stereo amp?

I think I read somewhere previously that bass/guitar amps are mono so it's a bit of a non-starter but thought I would check in here first before discounting the possibility altogether.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Your best bet is get it back up for sale - nobody on here wants it? You really only need something that's say 25 to 30W per channel for a hi-fi stereo amp and if possible get something that has a dedicated phono input alongside the conventional line level stages (so you don't need to fork out for a separate phono pre-amp unit).

You should be able to pick up a decent stereo hifi amp for ,say, £50 on Gumtree / Ebay.
on selling the SVT3 Pro - guess how quickly you can shift it depends on how much you're asking and condition.
Also whether offering to post / parcel it .
Good Luck.

Seriously, get this - it will sound infinitely better than a bass amp, and a total bargain:

Another plus from me too.

I used to sell shed loads of these back in the day.
An award winning integrated amplifier. You'll find it hard to get better for twice the asking price.
