bigdavethebass
Bridge cover looks way cool - but limits your palm mute options - which I couldn't live with! Would always say black - but those pearl pics have me sold!
zero9
It was indeed zero9's jazz. Made me want to kit my jazz out with flats and pickup cover.
Just checking, you mentioned a bridge pickup cover, rather than the neck cover. Is that right? It's just that my bass, which you tried at the bash, has a neck pickup cover. I'd go for the tort, however, the white scratch plate you already have would look cool with a chrome cover against the sage green Decisions decisions... Chris Sharman
Just to put this one to bed, I handed my Jazz over to Andy from AJR Guitar Mods and also of this parish for a setup and a little bit of work. Came back looking a bit different: From This: http://i951.photobucket.com/albums/ad353/stg47/IMAG04341.jpg To This: http://i951.photobucket.com/albums/ad353/stg47/IMAG04371.jpg Yep, I went for the black in the end with the neck pickup cover and I think it looks class. Andy has done a great job on the setup and fret dressing and with the new bits I am really impressed with the finished result.
