OK I'm sold on the idea. Got a new cab coming in a few weeks time and am going to have go - the LED strips are so cheap for a waterproof 5m roll ! The 3m self adhesive tape on the back of the LED strip doesn't seem to have the strongest of glues so I have tidied up the top right corner since I took the picture. Total cost less than a tenner.
