Of course this is completely different from boy racers lighting up the road underneath their hot hatchbacks.

But of course! This isn't self-indulgent nonsense, its a scientific effort to maximise audience pleasure on both the auditory and visual planes...or something

Now you need to add either a smokemachine or laser projector to the port.

Just don't get the smoke machine smoke and the 'magic smoke' mixed up...

From the earlier pics, the LED strip has a self adhesive backing, and is stuck to the inside edge of the grill.

OK I'm sold on the idea. Got a new cab coming in a few weeks time and am going to have go - the LED strips are so cheap for a waterproof 5m roll !

Well I did it! Thank you Dubs for the inspiration to have a go. Barefaced Big Baby 2 (3rd Gen).
The 3m self adhesive tape on the back of the LED strip doesn't seem to have the strongest of glues so I have tidied up the top right corner since I took the picture. Total cost less than a tenner.

Yes, EL tape can be great fun. Some of FF junior's kayaking friends used it to make this freestyle kayaking video. it's all live video, no animation or special effects.

Kayaking me liked that. Thanks for posting. The Sweet helmet-logo-revisited was a nice detail.

Ohhh boy... for somebody about to try building their first cab who has a fixation with LEDs, this is NOT the thread I should have started looking at...

That speaker cab is fantastic!
(Might be a little out of place in our blues band though)
