I would say not particularly as he isn't identified as playing a wal.

I'd say not. If you wanted a Wal, you'd get it cheaper elsewhere. If you were a BF fan I'd think you'd want a bass more reflective of him.

Didn't he play a copy of one of the instruments made THEY WHO SHALL JOT BE MENTIONED? Personally, I always associated him with those Matsumoko made neck through body basses (Aria branded I think).
