Colonel36
Anyone got any preferences on guitar wall hangers. Likes, dislikes, best ones etc. I'd like to get one....or two and I don't want to get something that's a bit rubbish. Thanks.

Moos3h
I have a couple of posh Hercules ones that 'grab' the guitars. £10 if you're local to Halifax?
rk7
Hercules wall brackets are very good. They are well made, and hold the bass very securely. I have two, but they aren't for sale. Apparently you can get them in Halifax for around £10. thank you please RK
Grand Wazoo
Hercules are very good, safe as houses, and if you get very clever fitting them up, you can hang them at different heights and spaces in between to obtain something like this:

Fat Rich
Hercules wall brackets are very good. Apparently you can get them in Halifax for around £10. thank you please RK
Hercules hangers come in two varieties: a 3 screw metal plate version and a 2 screw wooden backed one, both work fine. If you order online there's a risk you'll get a mixture of wood or metal ones, annoying when you want them all to match. I found it tricky to get the 2 screw wooden ones completely vertical, mine look wonky despite me taking care to get the holes drilled in the right place. The 3 screw metal plate ones don't show so much if they're wonky because of their shape.
Jellyfish
I've had issues with Hercules stands in the past, so have never bothered trying out their hangers. I currently use an Ultimate Support one after seeing Mark at Bass Direct using them and if he can trust them to put his lovely basses on, I'm sure it'll be fine for me! They stick out a bit more than the Hercules ones, but they fold up while not in use and have the same sort of self-closing yoke on them. jmchich
http://www.gak.co.uk/en/grip-studios-grip-hanger-grim-reaper/32990 Awesome if it's a metal bass...
Fionn
I would also recommend the Hercules hangers. Very sturdy, secure, and fit for purpose.
