lanark Posted September 30, 2010 Share Posted September 30, 2010 From first look it would appear that a two-fingered wall hanger is the same as any other, but I'm happy to be convinced that a £3.50 is significantly worse than a £15 one. Any recommendations? I need to get the guitars off the ground so the cats don't knock them over and I hate keeping them in their bags and cases as I never play them. However I have 4 of [url="http://www.herculesstands.com/guitars/GSP39WB.html"]these[/url] and I have to say they're very good. Dood Posted October 1, 2010 Share Posted October 1, 2010 I have five Stagg wall hangers:- I like the 3 screw mounting of these hangers over others that only have 2 screws, for a more secure and stronger attatchment. I also like this style of hanger as the arm is as short as possible, thus reducings any stress on it's joints when heavy instruments are hung from them. They have been on my walls for years now and show no signs of giving way. They were cheap as chips too! I have plasterboard walls - and it is very important to use the right sort of fixings - I'd say that was more important than the choice of hanger itself.
