1. Recent purchase but decided to use very little of it as it goes. Plus some other stuff I've been hanging onto for no reason. Pictures below. All prices include postage. Open to offers White "62 reissue jazz bass pickguard. I believe I took this off a 90s Japanese import fender reissue, but I have had lots and lots of similar and brought similar too, but I have had this for years too. Has a sticker with a bar code on the back that might help identify it. Does have a crack shown in the pictures. £10 Generic Jazz Bass pickups. As are really, pretty nice sound though. Vintage cloth wires. £15 Red Tortoise Shell Pickguard. Not the best cut and obviously not real, but nice looking. Shielded on the back £5 Hipshot B style bridge, satin. Very very light, but sturdy, a go to bridge for me. I may keep this yet, but would like a black or chrome version.(hence no picture) £35 kIogon single Volume wiring loom. Brilliant as always with his stuff. Have a V+T from him in my main bass. £10 Everything is hopefully priced to go asap. Bare with me as I am using my mobile but will try and reply ASAP.
2. Brought a bitsa bass. Was pretty much as described and packaged extremely well!!!! Would buy from again.
3. For anyone interested, there is one for sale to the US market eBay with its location in Japan, haven't had a good look at pictures myself though. I want to go have a look but I'm on the lookout for a sterling with mutes and maple board.
4. I see location is the Netherlands, are you offering postage the UK/EU
5. Input, 4 band eq with 2 sweepable mid bands. Master and then a defeatable limiter. But the limiter has to be the most thought out part, cause it has to be good and change with the required input gain. 800watts sounds a cool number, and 2 ohms I like the sound of just as then you aren't so limited to what cabs you want. You might buy a 4 ohm unit thinking that's all you need to turn around a few months later and need more speakers so have to sell it to buy two 8ohm versions. 2ohms makes more sense for longevity and future cab needs. But I'd probably want it to to have more power though. HPF built in is an excellent idea too.
6. 16 right angle jacks, 10 chrome, 6 gold. Pre-made using well over a metre of cabling. Cost me plenty enough but I'm using EBS flat jacks now. Price includes postage and will accept PayPal or bank transfer.
7. Xotic BB bass Preamp. I've had at least one on my board for well over 5 years now. And infact I still have my first one, and all its needed is a little switch cleaner. It doesn't colour the bass' sound at all, and with the gain set at zero you get a very transparent clean boost and 2 band Pre-amp. It's gain knob has a very useable range too, from clean as above all the way to super gnarly. At one point I had two to get best of both worlds. As a side note I've owned most of the other big name drive units (tech 21; darkglass etc) but always go back to this pedal. And I'd love another!
8.
But who am I kidding that's probably coming soon for £450 and a small version for £250. Cause that's how apple make money, and it's worked with the microtube family of pedals.
Called it first! Wait long enough and we will definitely see a version like an ultra. So it is not the beginning and end. Just the beginning.
9. So is the bass without the ebs pre-amp and badass bridge now?
10. Including postage. No need to take a picture really? Brought a double pack to try the thicker top strings and while they did what I thought they would I just prefer the sound and feel of my usual sets so for sale. One set has been cut for a 34" scale P bass 4 inline tuning pegs. Been used 3 tines at home and cleaned so good for a few gigs yet. The other set is brand new still in the sealed pack. My price is cheaper than a single new set. PayPal or bank transfer
11. Can you RE upload the pictures they aren't loading for me any more.
12. As curiosity, what is YouTube doing that others aren't?
13. Have you thought about buying another stacked control knob as that will come with the screw? Unless I've read your post wrong
14. Here is the bass in question http://basschat.co.uk/topic/260159-sold-acg-33-j-type-graft-fs-l600/page__fromsearch__1 Looking for it to possibly buy it back, I believe it was sold on twice and after the 3rd owner I can't seem to find the 4th. There are so many basses I want back but this one being a custom Job is something I really would like back.
15. Didn't want to start a fresh thread for this but can't seem to find a solid answer. Basically I have space for one pedal on my board. And was thinking I can use this as a "toys and fun" pedal with all its patch capabilities. At the minute though I really want to try out an octave up and a delay, with the ability to have them either on or off or both on at the same time. Now my question is, how easy is this on this pedal? As I have it I could have a patch each for supposed use and then scroll through them? I have no idea!! Very briefly own a B3 but never got very far with it.
16. More likely to be nordstrands as I can't see any markings on the pickups.
17. I believe my first album I brought with my own money was by a guy called Shaggy and apparently it wasn't him. How right he was. Years later I got into blink 182 heavily that made me pickup guitar to possible pick up girls. Wanted to try bass once I was a bit older and had come to my senses.
