1.
Where are you based?
Nottingham pal
2.
Tech 21 pedals are made in the US though, where child slave labour is a bit trickier to get away with.
Lol! Lozz, one thing I want to know is how you use the DI pedal? If I recall you use a Markbass head? If you are going straight into the front end of that you'll find that the head might sound a little thinner compared. I only ask and say because I just got a LM3 and I went straight into the front to begin with and the sound is nice and loveley but my preamp cooks the input stage. So go into the effects return(bypasses the preamp but before the EQ) and the sound loses the low mid bump that I think Markbass is famous for?one thing to bear in mind if indeed the VT head is just the pedal with a power amp.
3. Bumping as if I had the money would have already brought it
4. Is the amp and cab going to be the main sound source the audience hear? Or do you DI to the desk often?
5. just picked up a LM 3 after having a genz shuttle 9.0 I feel no discernable difference in volume and I am using a MArkbass 4x10
6. Old and a bit abused been in the garage for best part of 3 years, not even sure if it works but if not the cab will make a good project for someone. 10 pound to a good home, will want collecting.

8. Cabs sold pending the usual. Still looking for a Markbass LM tube 800 hopefully with the carry bag.
9. Amp sold, price dropped further as I know need an markbass amp haha! *amp head, not cab, I have one already!
10. There is an SVT 7 pro in the ad section for 300 pound. Can't think of anything better
11.
Really? I mean, if that's the case then fair enough. But I can't see how something so small can do 'any situation'. However, nice that you've found something that works so well for you.
Seriously, at my regular rehearsal space where they provide 8*10s of various brands I take along a single super compact and it absolutely cuts through. If you have a more typical fat and deeper sound two would definitely be better than one but again it depends how loud you need to go. One is enough for me in a room against a PA, drums and a 4*12 100w Marshall rig. Done loads of gigs in some of the bigger spaces in Nottingham and I never need more than one and don't need anything in monitors. Most EQ it gets is treble gets knocked down a little and the bass boosted a tad.
12. Two barefaced super compacts in the ad section. Only 11 kgs each. One is more than enough for any situation though
13. None of the above. Only drives that get bitey or any with at least a 2 band EQ. Only out the box bitey overdrjvd is the darkglass B3K and B7K. Surprised they've not been mentioned yet.
14.
We've used it. Mr Venom deals with this side of things, but IIRC you can log in and see if anyone has listened to your tracks. I believe ours were all auditioned within a week of being uploaded. Whether or not you get any airplay is entirely down to the people who make those decisions for your local show and if they like you or not. Nottingham (and consequently the East Midlands) is very much in the grip of fey singer-songerwriters with acoustic guitars, so unless you fit into that genre you will probably be disappointed. We have uploaded the tracks from all three of our EPs (as well as supplying actual physical copies of the CDs and vinyl to Radio Nottingham) but have only ever had one track played on the radio. You would have thought that a local band with it's own records available for sale would be important enough for a local music show to at least play one track of each release, but apparently not. Good luck, but don't expect much.
We experience really, as in Nottingham too. Even met Dean Jackson at a show and told us personally he would play us on the radio, but again we aren't folk/acoustic/singer/songwriter/indie so they just don't care, regardless of what the rest of the UK are actually listening too. Generally depends where you are from and what appears to be popular at the time. If it isn't the same as that then you'll have a tougher time.
15. There are also two markbass classic 106. Lightweight sealed 6x10 cabs.
16.
Gone for a Barefaced Super twin now
Bruh, destroys people
17. Depends what you mean by 'lows' and 'thump' You should try and pin point what you actually want from them. I had a pair of those and never wanted for any more low mid thump, and prefered them stacked vertically, which was a lot more clearer through the low mids to high mids. I doubt that changing one for any other cab size (apart from something really huge) is going to make a real difference, apart from maybe some sort of pseudo belief it's changed from just thinking it's changed due to having a 15 or some such.
18. Decided to enter. Using my mobile as I'm a poor turtored artist and the upload won't upload and the submit button doesn't seem to work.
