Lots more on there for any guitarists needs. Amps amps amps, and some more amps. I doubt you'd get any more out of it than your current gear, baring you don't mind taking all your gear everywhere. It definitely could replace everything but it's not social convention at gigs to turn up with no amp. TBF, to be fair I've stopped using mine outside of recording guitar and bass for song ideas, been too busy to tweak the options etc, and as I still end up taking my rig everywhere a lot of the more useful stuff you can't turn the amp sim side off. Ideally right now, if I could get a dual channeled input I could at least do some basic drum recording too,mans build up some tunes for the whole band to use to lay back to, refine etc.

If they were 8 ohms I'd of ordered one, but I think the 12 ohm stuff is putting (me) others off.

Cheers [/quote] The MIJ jaguar has the 70s spacing, the MIA version I think is 70s but I haven't seen one in the flesh. The squier versions range, since they come in short scald too. Hope that helps. FWIW, I loved my Japanese one, excellent build quality, preamp is a bit crap though.

Without having to consider weight, storage or portability, or it being too loud. An Ampeg 8x10. But unfortunately that's not a possibility. Meanwhile, the BF super compact, keeps on winning for me ATM. Every time I get a little bout of GAS I use it at a gig or rehearsal and I remember how great it is. I am thinking of getting one of the new retro 2 10 though hahaha.

I read the article and he says it weighs he same as a regular bass. I think it looks rad, and I'd seriously contemplate a bass that looked like the bass side of this.

There are three of us and we all have equal weight in what goes on with us. Even when recording the drummer had perfectly valid suggestions for hat I should play for some parts and we trid them and they stuck cause they sound ace. IMO if you aren't being listen too, and they disregard you as 'you are only the bass player' it's time to leave.

I really like d'addario strings at the minute. Check string tension on their website. Once the nickels die a bit they'd get that burp on a P for sure.

I'd get the 2x10. Stand the combo on its side, then the 2x10 on top of that on its side. Now you have a rig that's the same height as a 8x10 but much better displacement. The lows, you aren't going to hear them that much anyway, the low E fundamental is something like 40 Hz(IIRC) and you mainly hear the harmonics of that anyway. That's why people can set up with amps that say they only go as low as 40hz, 50hz etc.

We don't share stuff too often, but usually we get to together at mine and I stick youtube on, and we all have our phones or iPads synced and we can que up tunes. We take it turns, it's ace as no one knows what's coming up next really and when you are forced to listen to something you wouldn't pick out yourself it opens your eyes. Plus it's nice and social, have a few coke zeros and relax.

2 compacts maybe? 1 definitely not. The barefaced stuff does need some power behind them to make the most of them, as has been said. 2 might shift enough air to make up for it. It all depends if you are your amp purely as on stage monitoring or not.

I did this. Fender UK will repair it, but at cost since you changed the voltage. It's blown it's electrolyte capacitors, but fender will replace the whole power module. I'd contact real electronics in Sheffield as they replace components, and should be a lot cheaper.

He might have gone on holiday. I've done that and the buyer complained a vintage games console didn't work, it did he just wasn't using it on a TV that output 60hz, I didn't know till I got back from holiday 2 weeks later. EBay refunded them the money and I lost the item.

It's a simple clean loop with a level control. That's summed together at the output. It's similar as having an effects loop and effect level on an amp and sticking a distortion box in the loop.

I wouldn't be too worried, as eBay is very much on the buyers side in every case. Annoying for sure, but you'll get your money back.
