  7. i have a friend who was the audience clapping on a peter gabriel live album. apparently they were out of time with the performance, and the clapping sound was sampled and my friend had to sit through the particular song 'clapping' on a keyboard. whenever i have done live recordings, i'll not re do anything. either it's good enough to release or it isn't!
  8. if you have a p bass, try raising the g string side of the pick up. should help to balance the output of the bass

  11. i did see a weeping demon wah pedal on ebay the other day. It retails around £110 yet the seller had set his buy it now price for a used example at £185!

  21. my experience of the BDI is exactly the opposite of that mentioned above. It has always performed well for me and those i loan it to. (it is held as a spare bass DI as a part of our church's PA. personally i own both the VXL, bass exciter and the mxr. The mxr it was i will always by choice. an excellent piece of kit. IME far better than the BDDI. I still have a hankering to try the tone hammer though!
