1.
Nicely blurred headstock photo too....
Even blurred, it's not a 69 Precision logo!
 2.
What's the point of having an effects loop if its not as good as putting the effects in line from bass to amp then?
Because the effects loop will generally be after the pre-amp and EQ section of your amplifier. There is a lot of debate about where certain effects should go, but arguably some effects sound better before the preamp section, and others after. Lots of articles about which effects should go where on line.
 3. I used to own a westone thunder guitar bought new back in the 80s. Fantastic instrument. £40 is an amazing deal!
 4. Seafoam green would look great on that. Definitely with a matching headstock,
 5.
Okay. This is obviously the best bass in the world. Forget all the nonsense I posted earlier tonight except for the part where I said it sounds great of course. There is no room for honesty on here.
Plenty of room for honesty on here. Post something in the bass guitars thread if you like. But undermining another member's, paid for, for sale thread isn't clever.
 6.
Can't fault that customer service one bit!
Shhh.... Not meant to say that about Rickenbacker on here!
 7.
Its mexican neck is hard to setup if you want ultra low action. Nowhere near the quality of my other signature fender - a MIJ marcus miller sig jazz.
That may be your opinion, but it lacks class posting it in someone else's for sale thread...
 8.
Heres my c64 which I bought about 18 months ago plus the new addition of a fireglow 330. I cant play a 6 string worth a damn but I wanted one in in 1964 when I saw Pete Townsend playing one and now i have one. Yesssss
Very nice - the 330 looks stunning
 9. Another +1 for Krist Novaselic But my vote would be Colin Moulding of XTC
 10. Bump for price drop. Now £85 plus postage
 11. I bought these a few months ago on here, but have decided to stay with the EMGs which I've currently fitted. Link to Molan's for sale thread here with pictures and full specs here (hope he doesn't mind) http://basschat.co.u..._1#entry2210948 These are still as new, and have never been fitted to a bass! £115 plus £5 postage
 12. Final pedal in my clearout. EBS Multi comp - just about the best pedal compressor out there, IMO. Three modes - normal, multi-band, and "tubism". The tubism setting really warms up sound, giving a nice valve like tone. I can't find the original box for this one, but it will be sent securely packaged. £85 collected or £90 posted.
 13. Fantastic little distortion pedal which takes up hardly any space on your pedal board. Great range of distortion sounds from a touch of dirt, to full blown overdrive. Very versatile. Comes with the original box £65 collected or £68 posted
 14. Second pedal in my effects clearout is my MXR Bass Fuzz Deluxe. These a really versatile fuzz pedals giveing everything from a bit of dirt through to full blown Muse style fuzz. The wet and Dry knobs are really useful live, meaning you can dial in enough uneffected low end to not get lost in the mix. These retail for around £120 new. This one is in perfect condition and comes in the roginal box. £65 collected or £68 posted
 15. First item in my pedal clearout. Standard Boss chorus pedal, in its original box. Excellent condition, and the only point to mention is that there is a small piece of velcro on the bottom to hold it in place on the pedal board. £35 collected or £38 posted
 16. Excellent - a while since we've had an E Mids bash, and I should be able to make it
 17.
Thats copies, but how much you willing to spend to make it "playable" the copies can fetch £500, then £200 for pickups. You could pick up a second hand 4003 for around a grand, that will still be worth a grand when you want to flog it. Copies are ok, but once you start spending you have to look where you are going with it. The Brand matters not, but there is a term of throwing good money after bad.
+1
 18.
I personally am glad there is a company who aggressively attack the excessive margins of others and bring value to the market - the fact that they can produce the bass DI for 1/7th the cost of sansamp make you realise how much the latter are taking the piss on price.
Much easier to do that, of course, if you copy another company's existing product rather than investing in research and development of your own products.
 19.
Good evening, Andy... Have you read the 'pinned' posts t the head of the 'Items Wanted' section..? Here you are... Items Wanted - Restrictions... I hope this explains why replies and 'bumps' to Wanted posts have been removed...
Got in just ahead of me! Sad in some ways, as it would be nice to bump wanted threads. Mine has disappeared so I guess i'll have to post a new one. Shame that some users were clearly using to avoid the (very reasonable) for sale fees.
