1.
Well, I think that yes people should "be themselves", sure. Thats all great. There is no excuse for being disrespectful or thoughtless when it comes to posting on a public forum. We welcome all on here and as I have said already, it only takes a minority to spoil it for others by not thinking before they post. Unfortunately for the moderating team, it makes us busy, when we'd rather be playing bass too. The moderating team do discuss such topics together in order to make this forum a nice place. It's the best bass one around, I think.
+1 Basschat is the best forum ive ever been a part of, also the only one. But I did see the background on talkbass once and ours looked much more erm... better
 2.
I like it when people are being themselves. Some women are crude too. Post a six-pack on a girly forum and look at them swarm. I'm jealous; I wish I wasn't so inhibited. We're not all mild-mannered bassists. Trying to restrict others is a horrible way to deal with it, in my opinion. I've yet to see malice. Not from the accused anyway...
I like this idea that people can be or not be "themselves" if people aren't being themselves then who are they being??? and if someone is not being themselves and they start being me then can I still be me or do I have to be someone else??? and if so can I be JK and challenbge big beef to a beret wearing robot dance off

 4.
I don't expect respect. I'm a f*cking idiot! I thought everyone new that?
*correction* an idiot who cannot spell
 5.
I don't use my nose.....
ill have to give that a try
 6.
Well, you have to see it like this everyone..If your busy here posting.. Then you aint busy playing?
not true! I sit infront of my computer playing scales and occasionally hit the refresh buytton with my nose

 10.
Thanks Mike, enjoyed Donna Lee I can't tell you how many times I've attempted that and had to give up ( as with anything involving Jaco) Cool interpretation! If you don't mind me asking...what sort of practice regime do you have with that type of track, do you study it in sections and put it all together? Just I'd love to be able to get through at least some of it. cheers Jase.
Your not alone mate, I too have tried this many times learnt a section or two and then given up
 11.
I'm not a p-bass fan,but at those prices I may convert!Did you see tha Ash j-bass on the Rondo site?I want one of those!
same here

 13.
He may be sh*t hot with his technique but I bet he couldn't bitch and whinge on a forum as well as some of us!
he he well said so he's showing off and its not very musical, so what? It wasnt great to listen to but it didn't offend me in any way and certainly wasn't drivel. The only way I'd have that big a problem with it is if maybe I secretly wished I had that level of teqnique Envy can be a terrible thing
 14. looking good I really like the look of black limba at the moment ^_^

Ideally I want a permanent one made by a luthier to go between the pickups on my 4 string thumb bass, but im not really shure who to ask? Anyone had any ramps made for them and if so who by??? Cheers Bob
