  2. I’ve seen these before, and the tuner routing etc would be easy. It’s just a shame it isn’t a couple of mm wider at the nut end.
  3. I love these. Wondering whether I can convert it to a 5 string with that 42mm nut?

  6. I bought this earlier this year (used from B.D) but I haven't used it as it's more powerful than I'll ever need down the 'Dog n Duck' and it takes up too much space just sitting here collecting dust. Postage may be a problem, but get in touch and I'm sure something can be worked out.
  7. I'm still not clear if this is the MS or SMS version. A photo of the back of the 'headstock' may have this printed on.
  8. I’ve had both the Korean and this model German ones. Absolutely gorgeous basses.

  12. Oh, I’m so tempted, especially as you are coming over to London. I’ve just bought a 5 string 30 inch Joker 5 and it’s the best bass I have ever owned. The chance to own another Mesinger is so tempting. I’ll have to lie down and have a think
  13. No idea as I bought the bass and immediately took it apart to make a headless short scale, 5 string version. Truss rod does turn.
  14. I've done my measurements. I've rerouted the neck pocket, and the neck was from a 6 string squier v1. The bridge saddle will be just behind the volume control. It'll all fit
  15. Bodged the finish - it ain't a pro job in any way, shape or form, but I like it. The wallpaper was embossed, so unless I put 200 coats of lacquer on it was never going to be smooth, so we have a smooth, textured finish. My burst is iffy at best, so you are never going to see this for sale on here as a perfect finish. I've still got the bridge and headstock attachment to fit but it's close to the end (I hope).
  16. I bought this last year from a lovely guy in Essex but haven't touched it (my Ibanez ehb1005sms has been getting all the love) so it's up for sale. Black nylon strings fitted. It's got a hard case (the previous owner cut down a normal width case to fit this). I would say this is 9.9/10 conditionwise. Pick up / meet up somewhere or post.
  17. Bartolini® BH2 neck pickup Bartolini® BH2 bridge pickup Removed from an Ibanez EHB1005SMS 5 string bass.
