  1. Bought earlier this year (for £1500) and only used for a couple of rehearsals, so pretty much as new. Comes with unused gigbag, booklet etc. Only selling as I've just bought another bass so this has to go towards paying for that (and I have two of these). About 7.8lbs in weight. Body & Neck The body of the EHB series basses has been carefully designed for optimal ergonomics. The bass will sit in a comfortable position whether you’re stood up or sat down, with a set of simple curves and contours that offer excellent mobility and flexibility. The body wood of choice is African Mahogany, with an eye-catching Poplar Burl top. The multi-scale neck employs a 9-piece design comprised of Panga Panga and Walnut. A set of Graphite reinforcement rods provide supreme stability, durability and resistance against the elements. Stainless Steel frets and luminous side dots further emphasise the expertise that has gone into the EHB’s design process. The multi-scale concept mirrors the movement of your hand, making for a comfortable, adaptive playing experience. Electronics & Hardware On the electronics front, you get a set of Nordstrand Big Split pickups with a hum-cancelling design. These pickups are known for their hybrid P/J tone, well balanced but with a bit of midrange bite when needed. A vari-mid 3-band EQ (complete with bypass switch) further complements a wide tonal palette. Finally, a specially-designed bridge – the MR5HS – is unique in that each bridge piece is independently attached to the body for maximum vibration transfer. Adjustable saddles, Schaller S-lock strap pins and a Neutrik locking jack are the final pro-grade appointments – this bass means business. My two EHB1505MS ‘s Light as a feather and sound wonderful with the Nordstrands.
  6. Chris just picked up my Ibanez EHB1505. Great guy and would happily do business with again.
  7. Any idea of the weight? My one was 10lbs, so a bit too heavy and it had to go, but I've seen them at 8 1/2lbs too.
  8. Any idea of its weight?
  9. Comes with gigbag, booklet, allen keys and ramp.
  10. Thanks for that. Too much for my arthritic neck and shoulder GLWTS
  11. Can you see how much it weighs please?
  12. DR Downtune strings for me - The clearest low B I've found
  13. I just tried buying from them - postage is £17. Luckily there was a problem with my payment (overdrawn yet again) so it didn't go through.
  14. Retrovibe Vantage. I understand it was a preproduction one that I've converted to a 5 stringer (43mm nut), changed the bridge, put a USA made 5 string Thunderbucker pickup at the neck and a Retrovibe 5 string Ricky pickup and chrome surround at the bridge. The extra routing for the pickups isn't tidy, but it's all hidden. Extra scratchplate material included if you want to make a better one. Professionally wired and setup. Cost me about £500 all in.
  15. It was a very boring natural finish, just ash I think. No maple top. It’s a bolt on neck
  16. Thats my old bass (The Bass Gallery sold it for me) which I had professionally sprayed with Vauxhall metallic lime green. If I hadn't just bought a new bass I'd have had it back GLWTS
  17. Literally just checked it - must be psychic or something 3.820kg
  18. Always wondered if I could convert one to a 5 stringer - thinking about it..........
  19. Absolutely love it. Just wondering what I'd get for my kidneys?
  20. Back up on the market. I love this bass but just prefer the Ibanez EHB headless ones ergonomically (old bones like light and easy)
  21. I agree, and it is gorgeous too, but I've got a thing about headless basses so this has to go first. I might change my mind though Bugger. It is lovely isn't it. I'm changing my mind
